The arrow ricochets off of Ragnar's shield, as he uses his cleaver and his generally large frame to keep himself protected against his opponents. Then, in an instant, he lashes out with tremendous force! As he does so, he readjusts his shield, giving him protection from almost every angle!

Piper Tallfellow

The blurring around Piper faded as he was hit again by an arrow, but this second wound seemed to set off a bizarre magical chain reaction. The area around Piper seemed to grey out and slow down. There was a terrible pressure as causality tried to reassert itself, then a cracking noise as it gave up the ghost. The greyscale Piper shattered as another Piper, this one still in colour and seemingly much less wounded, stepped out from within himself. The greyed-out shards of the old Piper whirled around him in an unnatural storm of dangerous edges, and the deck of the enemy ship seemed to lose a bit of its brightness.

The thugs see their friends fall and get hurt themselves in quick succession and desperation kicks in. Thug 3 really does not want to stay near the tall fellow anymore, and tries to disengage, but fails miserably.

One of the skeletons gives an otherworldly snarl towards the only thug still alive. "Foolish humans, you are too weak for this world! " The thug, angrily responds: "Oh yeah? Prove it!" The skeleton archers once again try to disengage, but fail once again.

"Not so high and mighty now, are you? Why don't you try hitting them with something else?" the thug sneers. By the way, I jumped between the boats last turn so I should be somewhere near Ragnar on the map.

With the closest foes taken care of, Drake turns his attention to the last living thug. He points his staff at the thug and a blistering ray of heat shoots out. As the skeleton smacks Hydros with its rib he smiles, and seems to swell. Alright. Thanks

Hi everyone,

I have some bad news. I finally got a new job. It is not the most fun one in the world (but still needed financially), and it is keeping me busy. I'm basically pretty tired when I get home, and I have had to re-evaluate how I spend my days/free time between wy wife, gaming, orchestra and so on.

Long story short, I won't be able to lead this campaign anymore. I am truly sorry. If someone wants to take over as GM, please, go ahead.
