Do you see how he's a cat?

Tenra is a world ever at war - but sometimes, there is peace. After decades of battle, the nations of Taizen and Marashina declared a cease-fire, and shortly thereafter, a long-term treaty was drawn up. All that remains is for the lords of the two nations to meet and sign it. Kuga Naotada, lord of Taizen, heads to the signing tomorrow, and he means to do it by way of his nation's newest creation: the Steel Arrow.

Funded primarily by one of Taizen's wealthiest nobles (and its most eligible bachelor/most daring armour rider), the Steel Arrow is being touted as armour technology for the masses. It carries few weapons, carries cars full of passengers behind it, and cannot leave a fixed route. With it, Lord Kuga promises a new era of peace and prosperity for his people, as well of those of Marashina. To demonstrate this ideal, he has promised free passage to any of his citizens who wish it on the Steel Arrow's maiden voyage. All he has to do now is travel to the treaty signing, along with his peace offering: the kugutsu Autumn Dawn.

New technology, dozens of people, and a treaty signing with an ages-old enemy? What could possibly go wrong?

About the Game
It's a train! And you're on it! Maybe you're a citizen of Taizen looking to try out this new technological marvel. Maybe you're a mercenary, hired to protect Lord Kuga and Autumn Dawn. Or maybe you're something I hadn't considered. Regardless, I'll take up to six of you aboard the Steel Arrow, for a peaceful trip sure to be uninterrupted by anything untoward.

Post your sheets here, using the standard character creation rules. Armour riders are allowed so long as you stick to suit armour. I'll trust you to do all the math correctly unless you want me to check your work. Recruitment will remain open until the crack of midnight (EST) on the 18th: one week from today. Include backgrounds with your character sheets, including your reasons for being on the Steel Arrow. Recruitment is closed; thanks to everyone who applied!

The Cast!
EclecticTastes, playing the Legendary Wanderer, Kitamura Jyo
Angling Dragon, playing sword-princess Konoe Mitsuko

Kyougoku Hisanori
[Pic]

Kyougoku Hisanori last scion of the Kyougoku clan, and last of the Sunlancer Guard of now long since forgotten kingdom, Hisanori in his own mind died several years ago at the last bastion of his liege.

In that faithful battle, he stood with the last of his brothers holding the line against near insurmountable odds a brutal meat grinder that eventually left him and 3 others as the last remaining soldiers alive holding that front gate. They thought they had won that day a battle against all odds, for a daimyo they knew to be benevolent and then they learned the truth. The court members had slain the daimyo and his advisers, to save their own necks and intended to surrender to the enemy. The entire war; for all the lives he took, and that were taken from him, all the blood, all the pain, undone in an instant by the weak spines of petty bureaucrats, who sought to barter with the hated enemy for some pittance, and control of the new vassal state. Hisanori slew the would be Vassal lords where they stood, and stole away from the castle as the armies of the foe poured in through it's open gates, and it's walls burned. He had lost everything; his home, his family, his lord, his purpose. He became no more then a lowly mercenary.

So those last few years he has moved from petty warlord to petty warlord, the services of a trained Gunlancer were expensive but highly valued, he found himself living off the back of his work, hand to mouth from a constant string of battles, but the money never filled the hole in his soul. Eventually it wasn't about the money or the glory. It was about the death, he approached every battle as it was his last, but no matter how he tried, he could not find the death he wished to find on the field of battle.

Now he has found himself in the employ of Lord Kuga, escorting a peace offering to an enemy. He took it as an easy job, the wounds from the last campaign had barely healed and he was in no condition to fight, so he assumed that a simple escort mission would tide him over, and keep him fed until he was ready to enter the next war. At least, he thought it would be.

Yoroi Special Tactics Division: A special style of ninjutsu developed in secret by the Taizen government to allow the Armor Riders of the Special Tactics Division (a secret unit of the Taizen military, unknown to all but the most powerful government officials) to reach their Armor without being caught by enemies, even in hostile territory on undercover missions. Paths are Cunning Sparrow and Broken Earth, the first technique is Shadowflight. Because this was supplementary training to the riders' Armor abilities, the skill only exists at Rank 2 for my character, higher levels of the "school" do not exist as far as Jyo is aware. Had the Special Tactics Division, as Jyo knew it, not been wiped out, this might have been different. For the sake of completeness (and possibly NPCs, given that the group does still technically exist), the Rank 3 techniques are Blackhawk's Shadow, Shadow Form, and Mind's Eye. Rank 4 is Four-fold Shadow Form, The Thousand Eyes, and Shadow-Stitch Technique (this last one meant to keep pursuers from following the rider). The Ninpou is Toad of Jiraiya (meant for use in situations where it becomes impossible to reach one's Armor, providing a replacement for the Armor). Jyo cannot advance his Ninjutsu skill in this "school" under any circumstance.

Backstory:

Jyo Kitamura was one of a group of children selected from the ranks of potential Armor Riders in order to join a newly-formed unit, the Yoroi Special Tactics Division. A secret to the people of Taizen, the YSTD was created to undertake top secret missions for Lord Naotada, all of them designed as false flag operations or made to look like bandit raids afterwards. Their targets were poorly-defended sections of not just enemy territory, but wherever Lord Naotada saw the opportunity to weaken a rival, even in times of peace. For ten years, Jyo fought with this group, not out of loyalty to the lord of Taizen, but to the unit's commanding officer, Captain Dan Fujiwara. Captain Fujiwara was a veteran of many battles, a Kimen Armor Rider who had managed the rare feat of maintaining his Meikyo well into adulthood, something that made him uniquely qualified to lead the squad of child soldiers. Everyone in the YSTD saw Fujiwara as a father, and he did his best to live up to that image, acting with honor and integrity, even when their orders bore neither. However, as is usually the case with clandestine military units, a grim fate eventually befell the team. It was supposed to be an easy task, the team just had to destroy a lightly-defended farming village on Marashina's border with Taizen. The reason for the attack was vague, at best, but by this point, nobody in the YSTD questioned their orders, aside from the Captain, and he preferred not to harm morale by sharing his concerns with the squad. Of course, living in a hidden bunker is a bad way to keep aware of current events, and they hadn't heard that Taizen had entered peace talks with Marashina shortly before the orders were given. Apparently, Lord Naotada had noticed that the YSTD listened not to him, but to Captain Fujiwara, and so decided to start over. The operation was a trap, as Taizen forces caught them just outside the target village. Their stealth-based Armors didn't stand a chance against assault-types in a direct confrontation, especially because most of the squad used Kimen Armor. Lord Naotada called them a "rogue group of malcontents opposed to the peace talks", gaining himself leverage with Marashina. Though, karma being what it is, those peace talks fell through.

Jyo was the only survivor of the massacre of his unit, his body hidden inside the wreckage of his armor, the largest one the YSTD fielded. When he finally came to and pushed his way through the pile of scrap, he could only stare in horror at what had happened to the people he'd grown up with. More than friends, they had been his family, his entire world. And the bastards that had betrayed them left their bodies to rot in the mud. Using a makeshift shovel, Jyo spent the next two days burying the Yoroi Special Tactics Division, all twenty riders. At least, he buried what he could find of them. He kept Captain Fujiwara's personal sword, though it had been shattered in the fight, leaving only the last two feet of the blade still attached to the hilt. He also took with him the remains of the squad's battle standard, though their emblem had been charred beyond recognition. He draped it across his shoulders, and now uses it as a traveling cloak. However, the most important thing he took from the battlefield was his armor's sword, a custom-made weapon of much higher quality than standard Armor short swords. It would take him a year of training to become proficient with it. He has vowed to never serve anyone's selfish interests ever again, and carries in his soul the anger of his lost friends. For the next five years, tales would spread of a lone wanderer traveling from town to town, nation to nation. He would fend off bandits, expose corrupt politicians, and rapidly became a hero to the common people. And while the finer details would vary from one telling to the next, they all agreed about the enormous sword he kept strapped to his back, the blade he never drew, but all could tell he knew how to use it. Jyo would eventually return to Taizen, just in time to learn of the Steel Arrow. Jyo knew he could no longer abide by simply doing small acts of good in his travels. This time, he had to make the whole truth known. There was no way Lord Naotada had just given up on the Yoroi Special Tactics Division, it was obvious he just wanted a new group, one that was loyal to him alone, and not to some charismatic commander. Jyo wouldn't allow it to continue, he'd either expose the YSTD, or end the reign of Kuga Naotada entirely. Only then would Jyo Kitamura be free of his past, able to reclaim his future.

This looks pretty great, and I've been hoping to give TBZ a shot.

Konoe Mitsuko

Konoe Mitsuko is the eldest child of Konoe Daichi, vassal lord of the Yasushi fiefdom within Taizen. As it is traditional in Yasushi for the lord's eldest child to lead the military, Mitsuko received training in the martial arts from a young age. Growing up, she came to love the warrior's lifestyle: giving your all to protect family and country. For the past five years, and until recently, Mitsuko has served as Warrior General of the fief. This put her at the forefront of most major battles and skirmishes, many of which were against the nation of Marashina.

Three months ago, Mitsuko gathered her forces at a keep bordering Marashina, hoping to launch a surprise attack and gain some land for Taizen. The castle suddenly shuddered as multiple explosions occurred, seemingly from inside the castle itself. Soon the entire keep was aflame and soldiers clambered in panic to whatever exits they could find. Caught up in the chaos, Mitsuko was unable to escape, becoming trapped under the rubble of the collapsing keep. When the surviving soldiers searched the cooling debris, they found Mitsuko alive, but severely injured.

As an injured Mitsuko returned to her father's court, he commissioned a mechanist to replace her now-useless right arm and eye. Despite her surviving the ordeal (and now arguably more deadly than before), Daichi forbade her from returning to the position of Warrior General, unwilling to expose her to any more suspicious attacks.

Since then, Mitsuko has been aiding her father with the domestic issues in the realm, growing more listless as the days drag on. Her current role is to serve as the Yasushi representative for Lord Kuga's peace delegation; a role more about ceremony than any real diplomatic clout. Hesitant about brokering peace with such a long-standing enemy, Mitsuko tried to keep the people of Taizen in mind as she prepared for what was sure to be a long peace ceremony.

I will make a wandering Monk who is being hunted by unsavory elements for a book in his her possession.

Chieko the Ill Wind

The monk now known as Chieko was not always a person of peace. In years past, she had been know by many names, Murderer, Revolutionary, Assassin. Most of her young life was filled with bloodshed and death. She would have continued on this path if not for a disastrous assignment which lead her to be severely injured, dying in a ditch.

She was rescued by a wandering monk named Hideki who took her to his small isolated temple and spent months nursing her back to health. Those months changed her, she saw the world in a new light. She abandoned the path she had walked and stayed with Hideki, first as an assistant, then as a disciple.

After 10 years, this life came to a sudden end. They were ambushed in the middle of an ancient forest by mysterious assailants. Their goal seemed to be a book in Hideki's possession. Hideki perished, shielding Chieko from the assailant's first volley of rifle fire. The rest was a haze for Chieko. When she came to her senses, the wood was silent and stained red. She took the book and has wandered for the last 20 years.

After 20 years, the book is still a mystery to her, it is filled with strange poems, referencing landmarks and sights all over this earth. Now she boards a train that will carry her to the next landmark, hoping that this time, it will offer a clue to what is hidden in this book.

TheNabster: I like your concept, but your writing badly needs proofreading. Trying to parse all the commas is giving me a headache.

EclecticTastes: Minor quibble: I'm using the Japanese naming format (family name, followed by given name). The lord of Taizen is Naotada, of the Kuga family. Otherwise, I like your concept a lot.

Angling Dragon: The only thing I see that's off about your character is the mechanica eye: they always come in pairs. Everything else is solid.

For those of you still thinking of submitting, you've got about three days left. If you get it in sooner, I can give you some feedback before the final choices are made.

The pawsting business is tough work.
I've been vacillating on this for a while, so I'll just do this in pitch form. I've got two character concepts, so which of these will fit better with what you've got in mind for the game:

* The Marashina princess, sent to Taizen as a hostage to ensure the signing of the treaty, or
* An oni kid, who literally has no other ulterior motive or dire purpose but to ride the train.

The second concept would probably fit the game a little better, but either one of them would be fine.

I really like the concept of the campaign. Lots of potential for who-dun-it escapades, which I absolutely love. I've got a problem, though, and it's a big'un.

You see, this would be my first Tenra game. I bought the rulebook around noon today, and I don't know my head from my bum. Frankly, I'm dazzled, confused, and maybe a little startled. Any help acclamating to the system would be sorely appreciated.

I've got a character in mind, though. I'm thinking about a Detective Swordsman, who travels his lord's land on a mission to clean up corruption. If you've seen Mito Koumon, something to that effect.

I could also be an oppertunistic merchant, who sees this situation as a goldmine rather than a lit powder keg, and hopes to manipulate people and events in order to come out of the whole ordeal a rich man.

Can you read the rulebook? As long as you can get a grasp of the basic mechanics (dice rolling, attack rolls, and aiki chits), I'm happy to help with the rest. I taught my tabletop group and another online group; I think I can handle one or two more newbies. Character creation is the hardest part, and as long as you stick to either a pregen character or a set of unmodified archetypes, you should be okay.

Every TBZ character needs at least a fair amount of combat skill. As long as you have that, this is also a pretty good concept.

Oh, I get that. Just remember that a lot of it is archetype-specific. I'd recommend reading through the main rules, sticking to no more than one major archetype, and staying away from onmyouji. If you're nervous, a samurai, kijin, or kongohki would all be pretty easy to play.

"Most plans are critically flawed by their own logic. A failure at any step will ruin everything after it. That's just basic cause and effect. It's easy for a good plan to fall apart. Therefore, a plan that has no attachment to logic cannot be stopped."
I find that the simplest character I can think of that still uses a special subsystem of some kind is a martial artist specializing in the Art of Ki Manipulation (page 312, lets you spend Soul to directly increase the unarmed damage you deal) and Celestial Form Kung Fu (page 227, you spend a turn charging up to deal more damage for the rest of the fight, to some pretty absurd levels). The Paragon Archetype gives a high rating in the Art of War of your choice (including Ki Manipulation), while the Fist of Acala and Fist of Kannon provide a good Unarmed Combat rating alongside a good rating in a Monk fighting style (they default to Acala and Kannon respectively, but you can swap to Celestial Form if you want, the only difference between the archetypes is that one has higher Unarmed, the other is higher in the Monk fightin').

However, it's far simpler, and no less effective, to just put together a swordsman (or other melee weapon), marksman, or other dude who doesn't have any special powers and just fights real good. It might help to grab some non-combat archetypes that look cool first, though, to get an idea of what your character's like outside of his combat role. Remember that only two of the Fates from all of your archetypes actually apply, so don't worry about painting yourself into a corner. Just try to keep your Karma below, like, ninety and you should be fine.

Really? I didn't see anything in the rules about that, and even the base archetype only has one. Still, making the change isn't an issue. Just to clarify, that's an additional mechanica eye, complete with attribute cost and everything? I'll probably go with two Hei class eyes in that case.

Her parents were pretty clearly oni, but they were either gone or dead by the time she'd know about them. The few other oni she's been able to get to talk to her have suggested that maybe this is not a natural state of affairs, that she shouldn't live among the humans or in the city, that they all wish her harm. She's not sure why, because she doesn't get treated any differently than the other beggars.

Like when Fat Shen got killed by a samurai. The samurai was drunk and stumbled into Shen, and then he turned into a monster and cut poor Shen in two. Then something the earth said made him turn back into a man and there was lightning in her hand and she doesn't remember the rest.

Anyway, Lu-si likes humans for the most part. They make beautiful music and mechanics. Her most treasured possession is a mechanical watch that she paid for for a year, even though she could have taken it and the shopkeeper would never have known. It's big and silver and fills her hand, and the machining is excellent like fine kimen components.

Lord Kuga's train is about the most amazing thing she's ever heard of, even better than O-yuki's kimen eyes, and Lu-si is going to get on board for the maiden trip even if she has to stow away.

Hana was born in Ose, a small vassalage in the mountains of Taizen. Her father, Kuwabatake Genjuro, was a well-respected commander within their army, as had been all eldest children of the Kuwabatake line for generations. Though the family fortunes had been on the rise, that would ultimately change with the birth of Hana and her twin sister, Hiroko. Her uncle, a gunsmith by trade, had forged a pair of pistols, to be presented to his niece; when he learned that his sister had borne twins, however, he was aghast, as he believed that to split a matched set of guns would ensure that they would wind up turned on one another. He begged his brother-in-law to pick only one of his daughters to gift the pistols to, but Genjuro, doting father that he was, could not bring himself to favor one over the other. Against his brother-in-law's advice, Genjuro gifted one pistol to each of his daughters, stressing to them as they grew older that, like their weapons, so too should they always strive to work in unison.

It was not to be, however. Both sisters joined Ose's army, but did not remain comrades for long; though Hana displayed greater talent in the family's two-gun fighting style, Hiroko was a superior commander and quickly distinguished herself in battle, shooting up through the ranks. As the gap between their stations widened, Hana grew jealous and desperate to advance herself. Eventually, perhaps sensing her ambition, the clan's chamberlain approached her, offering her patronage if she would 'take care' of a corrupt clan official discreetly. Hana accepted, but did not realize until too late that she had been manipulated- though the official was indeed corrupt, the chamberlain had no intention of promoting Hana, instead branding her a rogue and a traitor to cover up his underhandedness. In a cruel twist, Hiroko herself was sent to arrest Hana; unwilling to hand herself over to certain execution and unable to convince her sister of her own innocence, Hana was forced to kill Hiroko. She fled, taking her sister's heirloom pistol with her; she has never since returned to Ose.

Since then, Hana has worked as a bounty hunter, mainly in the employ of criminal syndicates tracking down debtors who flee rather than pay. Though she also takes bodyguard work from time to time, she is absolutely adamant that she does not work as an assassin. She is not stupid, however- she knows that many of the fugitives she captures are being delivered to fates worse than death. She tries not to reflect on it, even as she looks for a bounty large enough to allow her to exit the business and live quietly.

She is on the Steel Arrow chasing a fugitive- one Toramaru Jubei, an ex-member of the Red Lotus group. The Red Lotus has placed a sizable bounty on his head: in the middle of a turf war with the rival Smoke River Gang, Toramaru evidently betrayed his comrades and switched sides, joining the Red Lotus. This would prove to be a costly mistake, as he had badly misjudged the two gangs' relative strengths; the Smoke River Gang crushed the Red Lotus easily, and as part of the surrender negotiations demanded Jubei be handed over. Not wishing to find out what tortures lay in store for him, Toramaru fled, and the Red Lotus is desperate to recapture him to fulfill their end of the bargain. Hana suspects he is trying to use the Steel Arrow to escape into Marashina, where his former syndicate will not be able to pursue him so easily.

Kaede was taken as the apprentice of a well known onmyoji early in his life, and scarcely recalls the dusty town he was born in. His parents, already with 5 children, were happy to let him go - he was a pleasant enough child, but it would surely be a better life for Kaede, and one less mouth to feed.

He proved a diligent worker (if not entirely competent at physical chores,) but most of all a quick study. He was a sponge for any and all knowledge his master could teach, and when not being lectured would read any treatise on shikigami, sha, anatomy. When he ran out of those, he moved on to strategy, leadership and generally anything he could get his hands on.

When it became apparent that Kaede was not only a quick learner, but quite talented in onmyojutsu, it was not long before his master, Tenou Kazuo, formally adopted him. He was quickly being groomed to be added to his lord's court, as an adviser, strategist and onmyoji, a fast track for success and renown. That is, until war broke out. Kazuo was called for. He never returned. He was killed along with his lord in battle.

He left that land, not precisely a fugitive, but not keen on seeing how the new regent felt about his master/father's loyalties. He has since decided to wander the lands, learning all he can, helping those he can help and searching for a lord worthy of his service. The idea of a method of transport such as the Steel Arrow, the technological marvel that it is, being made open to the public, along with the promise of peace, has certainly grabbed his attention. Perhaps Lord Kuga is the man he has been looking for.

Sorry about the late submission, been super busy.

Also, a side question: it says talisman created in play are free, but gives no sort of idea of how to actually MAKE them, just that you need a shiki with possession. So if I wanted to make one later, would I just... craft the shiki, summon it, and then bind it to something in a scene? Obviously it'd have to make sense for the scene, but I'm curious. If there's time and it's OK, I might throw down the 10 karma to snag one to start, maybe toss some soul gems on it. Also, I'll whip up a few crafted shiki he's likely to pop off.

grassy gnoll & Chaos Triangle: Looks solid.

LizardBeam: Kaede is a woman's name. Not that you can't give it to a male character, but it will likely draw some amount of mockery. As for having pre-crafted shiki, go nuts. You likely won't have time to make any over the course of the scenario, though. Concept looks fine.

Kaede is a unisex name, just means maple. More popular for a girl's name, but not by so much that it'd stand out, I'd think. At least in modern times. Dunno about feudal Japan.

Ayakura Kinue is a name that belongs to many maidens of the Southern Court,. The exact number is a mystery regardless having a group of maidens all sharing the name is viewed as an ill omen by peasants and aristocrats alike. The "Ayakura Generation" as the common people refer to it is but one of the subtle ways the Southern Court maintains its power in remote regions. Young girls are selected, given the name "Ayakura Kinue" and trained in a variety of areas. Many end up as simple shrine maidens, others are further shaped into something darker. This process results in numerous deeds and exploits all attributed to a single person. Creating both a folk hero or a monster depending on whose opinion you ask. Only the Southern Court knows the true purpose of each "Ayakura", Outsiders are forced to gamble on whether or not a maiden is more then she seems. The fear of drawing the attention of a "Ayakura" keeps much of the populace in check and out of the affairs of the priesthood.

For this particular "Ayakuta Kinue" performing rituals for farmers, establishing shrines and marrying off blushing brides is a small part of her duties with the Southern Court. Her other purpose lies in silencing overly curious individuals, and retrieving Shinto artifacts. In spite of her job Kinue is not a emotionless killer or thug, what little childhood she had in a remote farming village left her with a upbeat, kindhearted and a tad bit naive personality. As much as it draws the ire of her superiors her ambiguity was one of the deciding factors in regards to her receiving extra training. Already on her way to Marashina to attend to her common mundane duties, her superiors ordered her to board the Steel Arrow to gather information and search for any signs of stolen Shinto technology under the guise of blessing its maiden voyage. Regardless of what happens Kinue is excited to ride in style.

EDIT: Thanks for the advice, EclecticTastes. I think this ought to do it.

EDITEDIT: Fixed again. Removed Samurai, replaced with Wanderer. Fits better with his character.

EDITEDITEDIT: Backstory!

Of all the vassals of Kuga Naotada, the Tatsumi clan is the least corrupt. This can be entirely attributed to the efforts of one man: Tatsumi Yabu.

He's an old grizzled warrior whose sole purpose is to root out corruption in his lord's clan: Weapon smugglers, dirty police, officials who dabble in the criminal underground... Generally, it's his mission to punish anyone with rank in his lord's organization who dare to engage in malfeasance. The punishment, of course, is almost always death.

This has been Tatsumi Yabu's calling for three generations. He began his service to clan Tatsumi as a freelance investigator for the grandfather of his current lord, Tatsumi Shinji. Through generations of diligent, selfless, and competent work, he eventually gained the trust of the Tatsumi clan, and the right to take on their name for his own.

His job today, officially, is to represent his lord on a diplomatic mission aboard the Steel Arrow, because his lord is sick, and unable to travel.

Unofficially, his lord smells an assassination plot against his master, and so Yabu is sent instead to foil any such plot before it happens. Yabu's lord gets to sit at home, completely safe from any incidental assassination plots. Win-win.

Two things I would point out about your character:

1. You don't have a combat skill listed. That, above all else, needs to be rectified. My recommendation is to take the Swordsman archetype, but drop the custom sword it comes with, which will reduce its Karma cost to 20 (and it will remove the Attribute Point cost, as well). This will give you a Melee Weapons skill of 4.

2. Generally, you'll want the attribute that handles your combat skills to be pretty high, since number of successes is important in combat (rather than just being pass/fail, like it is for skills). For melee weapons, that attribute is Agility. You'll probably want it at 7, minimum. Body doesn't get you much unless you're fighting unarmed, so I would suggest sliding two points from Body over to Agility.

5-Headed Snake God

What EcclecticTastes says is right; you definitely want to be at least competent at combat. 3 dots is the bare minimum you'll want in your primary combat skill, and an Agility of 6 or 7 would also be a good idea. By my reckoning, you're also missing two things. The first is the actual stats for your samurai transformation. Even if you're just using the archetype default (which is perfectly good), you should still note the stats on your sheet, so they you or I can reference them when needed. The second thing you need is, of course, your background. I also note that you have a rating of 4 for one of your Fates; it should be 3.

Finally, while it's not an issue as such (and may be covered by your as-yet-unwritten background), a TBZ samurai is in no way the same thing as a historical one. I mention this because your portrait gives the impression of a historical samurai, not the soulgem-studded Incredible Hulks that walk around Tenra.

I guess I should ask: if we've already posted and someone posts something we think should get an aiki chit, do we make a small OOC post with praise and the chit in thread, or over here? It's weird because of how kabuki-ish it'd be to have the audience participation right there, but it also goes against most people's PbP sensibilities. I'm fine with whatever, but it just occurred to me so I figured I'd ask. I've never played TBZ, least of all in a PBP format.
