My list, when I have the funds, is going to be Tycho, Wedge, Wes and Hobbie (Yes, I know it clocks at 109). And I will make terrible jokes the entire game while playing. (I will also run an actual z-95 swarm list, with Biggs with r2 and I wanna say Wedge)

I just took the plunge. Just got two z-95s at a sharp discount at a brick and mortar Barnes and Noble. Will get the core set when I get back in Ottawa, cause it's the same cost, then I'll trade the two ties in it for an xwing, and I'll have my starting 100 points.

Hmm, so far I own the core set and two z-95s. Should I consider picking up Most Wanted? That way, I can run either a Rebel 4z-95 list with Biggs soaking up fire. (List is Blount with Ion Missiles, Cracken w/ same plus decoy and munitions failsafe, two Bandit meatshields, and biggs with r2-d2) Or, I could run S&V N'dru with markmanship and hot shot blaster, drea with 2x proton torps, munition failsafe, unhinged astromech, BTL title, Ion cannon 3x black sun pilots.

Got my first game in today. Me and my roommate faced off against each other. two academy pilots vs two bandit squadrons. It was a tight tight game. I was running imps. On turn 2 I managed to strip the shields and cause a crit on one of his zs. Unfortunately, it was injured pilot so nothing really happened. Said z-95 ended up being the only ship left on the field with that one hit point. It also got both kills. His other one died when he accidently ran it off the table. The end of the game was a range one joust between his 1 hp z95 and my 1 hp tie. Great fun!

So, second game ever. Had a buddy over I want to get into this. So, we did 2 bandits vs 2 academies again. I was the rebels this time. I managed to knock both down to one hull. Then, things went super wrong. My manuvering was great, 4 rounds of range 1 shooting at him. Both z-95s focussed fire. NOT A SINGLE HIT. NOT ONE. He managed to get one tie to range 2 shoot each time...... I LOST. I did not kill a single tie, and he chewed through all 8 hull and shields I had on the table. Well, it was still alot of fun. Monday is first actual game night I have.

Had my first real games Yesterday. My list was Jake Farell + Proton Rockets + Munitions Failsafe (Yes, it did get used) + Lone Wolf (Yes, I am switching this for something else next game) Dash + Outrider + HLC + Lando (Everytime I used him I got good results, he ain't going) Airen Cracken naked. I faced first two b two y list. I lost. Good: I smoked one B, one y. My manuvering was spot on, I managed to get Cracken to stay on a b's 6 for most of the game, chipping him away, and killing him (yes, a z-95 smoked a b-wing.). Bad: Jake got blown up by a lucky B-wing in the 2nd round before he could do anything. I was ground down until I had cracken with 2 hull left, an ion token and baout to go off the board. Lesson's learned, drop lone wolf, have Dash party in the asteroids, keep Jake with Airen, they are a good duo it seems. Second game: Versus Fell, Sabre Squad Pilot, and Whisper with advance cloaking device. Good: Once again, great at manuvering. Ended up somehow with Jake right on Whispers rear end at range 1. Also good, Munitions failsafe paid off becaquse I missed entirely with the Prockets. By round three, they were down to 1 hull on Fel, two on Sabre, and Whisper was down to hull only Bad: Got Tabled. Dice betrayed me. So, I am confident in my movement skills. I am less so in my dice rolls, and I know lone wolf is bad because I spent most of the time with Jake close to someone. I think Imight actually get Cracken to sit close to Jake and pass a free focus to him becuase cracken shoots before him, and I can get Jake more in posiition then. Also, replacing Lone Wolf with Stay on Target. There is a tournament Sunday, and I may go to it.

So, on Sunday is my FLGS tournament. Now I am not sure if I go or not (Dependant on weather. If it's poo poo, I will.), but I am having a crisis. As mentioned in my last post, I did run my list very well but the dice kinda screwed me. I am thinking of running it again. however, I am also thinking on a completely untested list in which I replace dash-of-doom with an x-wing and b-wing. Please tell me I am being stupid.

Any other ships you'll get will be support ships for these two. In a pinch, if you live in a city where these aren't availible, like me, an Outrider is a poor man's compromise.

First tournament. 8 people. Counted 3 people with devestators, 3 with falcons, and three with outriders(one person is running falcon/outrider). Oddly someone is running a similar list to mine(outrider + Jake). My 3rd ship is a z his is a hwk

One game, they almost one shotted a b-wing, and in another, they one shotted a hwk.

Tournament today. Not a store Championship but just a fun one. 7 people showed up. Lists were 1 scum, dual firesprays, a rebel running lando and Leebo, two devestator/Soontir Combos, one devestator with two interceptors, one with dual phantoms and mauler mithel. I ran Dash, Tycho and a Bandit. I got a round 1 by. And lost the other two 100-0. So, I need a new list I think.
