So have we been seeing the machinations of trickster god (Loki) vs trickster god (Tzeentch->Anna) the whole time? This ending seems like pretty much the ultimate ALL ACCORDING TO PLAN!!! I'm assuming that the Athena that we've been interacting with for the most part has always been Loki, and that only maybe the shard known to the Grey Knights is an avatar of the "Real" one that we're just now meeting around the campfire. How far back did you start weaving these threads in Lowell?

Yea, I realized that the campfire version said we're just now meeting for the first time, but the avatar on Titan had the same older/weathered description iirc, and was active long long before we re-activated/released Loki-thena on Golgotha for the first time. (If that's what happened and the one we've known has always been Loki from the moment we burned that fate point)

"We will use the gravitic shadow and radiation emissions of known stellar phenomenae to plot shorter jumps. You can handle small dips into the Empyrean, can you not, Chief Navigator?" Sebekh asked pointedly. "I can, Lord Magos. I cannot really sense these phenomena but shorter jumps will allow us to re-emerge and take auguries." "Wait. Pull back, full galactic view." Athena interrupted. The map complied. "Nope. Wrong, wrong, wrong. This one's gone. Hera threw this one at me in a tantrum once so get rid of it too. There's also a black hole here, one here.... you know what, just hold on a second." She crouched and her hand disappeared into the floor. The map flickered and a burst of binary was visible for a fraction of a second. "There, now you're up to date based on my own readings. When the hell did you last clean your map cupboard, Sebekh?" She snickered. "You really are hopeless sometimes." "I'm not sure whether to say thank you or feel offended." He replied. "Both if you want, but now you're not going to accidentally re-emerge into the Fields of Zeus or The Graveyard, because let's face it, even in a ship like this you'd be pretty much hosed."

Mars: Currently a silver sphere, no admittance Titan Grey Knights, the Eldar, the best and brightest of Terra Ophelia VII Home to one increasingly scary Gorgon. Galactic South West Ultramar Has a functioning miniature Astronomicon, which allows them old-Imperium rates of speed, if not range. Has xeno FTL, which is slower but reliable. Galactic SouthEast Athenian Technocracy: A resurgent Mars-Fed chock full of heretek. Has limited FTL, likely to improve. Galactic North East Any humans not in range of those locations are entering the Second Age of Strife, with FTL being 1% the speed it used to be.
