Of course Ohone should get married! It's the perfect opportunity.
I support Kriegers in many of the roles, but who should be Maid of Honour?

Amacita, to show the Family that we still support The Family, above all?
Sincera, to give a clear message of Power?
Flours?

This is an important decision!

Get Married.

I think the problem might be one of Player vs Character knowledge, as well.

I'm sure Ohone, being a tech-priest-rouge-trader-scion-inquisitor-action-hero-spy knows full well what to do and how to act in this situation, but as a player? I'm stumped. We are trapped in a house full of politicians talking about things I have little context for (even If I could look up the entire history of the inquisition on some Warhammer-wikipedia) and most of the votes for this arc have been going places or talking to people. Not to mention the fact that all of these politicians are career liars and manipulators and we aren't even sure if the one we are working for actually exists (even though we met him?) and if he does, that he'd like what we are doing (he wouldn't?).

Perhaps it could be sorted out with a package vote, something like "I want Ohone to Join X faction to try to achieve X goal" rather than trying to do each step individually.

That said, the writing is as always superb and I am thrilled to see where the adventure takes us, but for my own sake I hope it's away from the other inquisitors.

I really want to just leave because this is just a massive timesink and we have a battle for the beast to lead/win, but as someone pointed out on IRC we are here anyway. If it was meant to waste our time it already has so might as well go through with it.

You know, something struck me during this arc.

We are an eccentric space trillionaire, who is taking quiet the Novel approach to solve her problem. Going on a Romantic quest that takes us past the Harlequins of the Black Library to find our late Space-Officer husband, Fabyian.

I don't know what it is exactly, but I had a fey mood and produced the following as a result:

Yeah, don't vent. Do Science.

We are a Tech-Priest right? Let's Tech-priest. If our enemy is invisible we just need drones with nets flying everywhere. Monofilament nets. Hugging every corner of the ship. Dicing everything in their path.

Put out a Public Service Announcement throughout the beast.

"Anyone not experiencing nightmares, please report to the Alpha Deck for your complimentary nightmare. Thank you."

We are getting a blank-assassin from Terra, but we are stranded somewhere at the moment. Our ship is sufficiently populated that we might just have a blank citizen randomly though, could be useful against this psyker threat.

If you want to build his Faith waiting for his return before you commit to the final attack is essential.

If it works, he will be the promised saviour, if it doesn't everyone will be dead anyway so it doesn't matter.

Waking him up after it's done is sort of lacklustre in comparison.

My vote is thus: Wait.

Also; Give Eleonora a medal or some sort of appropiate family-honour for looking our for the general population of the beast during these trying times.

Description:
Ambitious to a fault, Raul M. Oxenforth is a (former) Catachan Commisar - now Mercenary, who excels at achieving victories thought otherwise impossible via incredibly reckless and lethal full on assaults.
Tired of being bound by the rules of the Imperial Guard, he took his best squad of action-heroes and sold their services as mercenaries to the highest bidder.

Personality:
Incredibly ambitious I mean, stupidly so.
Ruthless
Well educated
Very intelligent
Gets the Job Done whatever it takes, as long as it benefits him in some way

Skill set:
Tactics and Leadership
Mid-level Psyker
Trained as a Commissar on Catachan, knows everything there is to know about high-octane action related explosions.

Why did Ohone choose you:
Will be a great asset with any war-related efforts.
Comes pre-equipped with a crack squad of elite Catachan soldiers.
Better have him around to point at the enemy than the other way around?

Yes

I kind of agree with a previous poster. You are very fond of the unreliable narrator and sudden perspective shift, which makes comprehending or even following the story a bit difficult at times. If I as a participator in your game don't know what is going on, it also prohibits me from voting or taking part. That said I love the story and your writing is excellent, and I understand that our ever growing insanity plays a large part in why the story gets a bit confusing at times.

So yes, Pray to the Emperor that the Fog of Doubt gets lifted from our eyes, that we might better Serve Him in purging the galaxy of Xenos and Heresy.
And throw in a quick binary prayer to Athena that we might find a voice of reason in this strange, chaotic world.

I've been lost since we got to Agarthas World basically. I have a rough idea of what has happened, there was an important party that got skipped and then suddenly Fabiyan was fighting Gorgon-Mother and then suddenly we are in the warp and then suddenly we are out of the warp maybe? Or maybe we aren't and we are hallucinating a two year time-skip that we made for some reason? The planet was an Eldar-machine and was promptly eaten by chaos. The whole chapter feels like a dream to me.

An interesting dream, though.

The tech-priests think they are in charge,
much like Humanity.
But your whole civilisation is poised,
on the brink of calamity!

I sense your navy retreating,
Like your street cred, it's fleeting.
Like your sweat it is seeping
soaking wet to the floor.

You don't know what you're dealing with,
you strange little toy-bot!
Seen better mechs than you,
that where made by a grot!

C'tant handle more,
of your child-like demeanour
your whole species is weaker,
than my clawed middle finger!

So go back to your ship,
and sail off to Pluto,
before I take of my rap-gloves

An endless array of men of iron,
their bodies frozen by time, like lions
they guard uncounted planets below
the surface of Mars is one such abode.

You think you have power?
You think you have might?
You think you have what it takes to stand up in a fight?
Your Imperial Guard are nothing but corpses,
stacked miles high with holes filled by roaches.

Your "Space Marines" or Adeptus Astartes,
Are nothing more than cloned out old garbage;
Your battlefleets don't stand up to one punch
from that raggedy, rickety old chaos bunch.

Even Eldar do nothing but laugh at you,
you've got no common sense, nothings getting through!
Why don't you go back to your golgothan playset,
before you say something that I'll make you regret.

You think your so special, with all of your titles?
I'm older than Earth, got more hats than there's bibles!
Now get a hold of yourself and get of off my lawn
you just got roasted by the OG C'tan!

So you went through a library and learned some new words,
girl there is no one thing I ain't before heard!

All of your history is but a beat of my heart
With the spit from my tongue I will rip you apart!

Word up to my homeboy, Aza'gorod the reaper,
A mere glimpse of his countenance
your heart'll beat weaker!

I fought the Old Ones in times immemorial
You fought some gold broad, what a tragic backstory yo :,(

You think your still righteous, so pure of heart?
your just following programming, your mal-code from the start!

Worst of all is that you think you are clever
Such a small monkey brain has helped no one; ever

Most of your life has been a drug addled dream,

For me, the cool part about The Beast has always been it's unknowable depths, it's insane layout and inefficient design.
Thus it saddens me that there are plans to gut it and move everything around to turn it into Generic Sci Fi Super-Capitol Ship #5673681.
What happened to the crazy rouge-trader plans of strapping half a hive city to the top to make a new crew quarters?

The Cult of Abrogates already destroyed anything that was interesting about the people on-board, lets not make that same mistake again!

No, my plan is far bolder. I say we purchase every single derelict and unfinished repair job in all of luna drydocks junkyard and then run through the valley-gauntlet like a crazed, souped-up-katamari, absorbing the detritus of millennia from the richest, most advanced shipforges in the Empire.

Then we strap the dragon to the front of the ship and put as many guns as humanly possible in it's mouth. At least one of every kind in the galaxy. And we link them all to a single, red button called DRAGONFIRE and then link that o the vox-system to play ancient human war-hymns whenever we push it.

Plan Katamari Supremacy

Secondly, I propose we sell of the Abrogates.
Thirdly, I propose we also sell of Amacita as their leader.

I'm sure someone would appreciate their warp-calming effect.

I would say we Elevate her to the new position of Family Trade-General, the one nominally in charge of the Families economy and running the day to day business.
Then we give her a shuttle big enough for her crew and tell them Good Luck, we are requisitioning the beast forever because GALACTIC WAR.

I would say that, but profit factor no longer matters. We never cared much about family and we are going to bring about the second golden age through use of a non-rogue AI.

We are worlds apart. We are no longer a rogue trader, but we need this ship for reasons.
