The self is nothing but an internally imposed delusion. I exist only because it is believed I exist, not because of some sort of... ontological grounding. If it weren't for the inertia of my being, I would have dissipated into the ether an age ago.

Allow me to clarify.

Rarity made a joke comment in regards to my behavior being similar in a previous game where we played together. In that game I was scum. However, in that game Rarity was also scum. I turned her joking assertion back onto her in that statement that you quoted.
