EDIT changing shirt. To another blue/green one though.
He went into the locker room 2 sets down against Monfils too.

Unforced error by Cilic - biggest cheer yet from the crowd.

EDIT pretty hosed up to cheer when he hits 1st serve into net.

I can't see Federer pulling this out. Cilic is just smashing the ball and Federer can't do anything to blunt that power.

If Federer manages to take the 3d set, Cilic will be smashing those balls on the wrong side of the lines more often. Got to take Cilic out of his rythm somehow.

I didn't think Kei would be the first of the young guns in the finals of a major. He's probably the better player if he's not dead tired. If Cilic is playing like today though I'm not sure anyone could beat him.

Last grand slam final without Federer/Nadal/Djokovic or Murray was Australian Open 2005.

Can't quite believe that Nishikori or Cilic will be a grand slam winner come Monday.

For all the early upsets in the women's bracket we ended up with two number ones in the final. The men's side seemed more straightforward but I don't think anyone expected this final

Yeah, the consensus was that the men's side was holding up through the round of 16. Even to today, we expected 1 vs 2.

I don't understand why Woz just hits the ball straight back to Serena. It's just a practice session for her. She's hardly had to move at all.

Looks like a rather routine win too, at least so far. Cilic again is serving out of his mind and Nishikori looks a little gassed from his last three long matches.
