There is an actor in the world that is named Robert Z'dar. This is him. He's been in over 60 films in the last 29 years. I recently discovered him and could not stop looking at his face. It looks like someone punched a giant potato and put a wig on it. I had to know if he had always looked like that, or if it was just the unfortunate way that he aged. ------- Here he is in one of his first movies, called Hellhole. He is 35 years old here. He looks almost normal. In fact, he probably would be handsome to some. What went so wrong? ------- This is him in probably his most famous role as Maniac Cop, which apparently is a cult classic horror film. I dunno. What's interesting to me is that the make-up he wears rounds out his face to make him look somewhat passable as a normal human being. I would be less afraid of Maniac Cop Robert Z'dar approaching me than Normal Robert Z'dar. ------- Here he is in probably my favorite movie that I have seen of him, called "Killing American Style." I feel this is where he was in his prime. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGFZxrhW9rg&t=25s Here is the trailer for that movie. Watch his face when he talks. It looks like someone stretched silly putty over a football. ------- Here he is in Final Sanction. There's a scene in it where he holds a gun to his head and makes faces that resemble a horrifying Kermit the Frog. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8c-BZ3XVNQ&t=1245s Sadly, he didn't pull the trigger and the movie continued. ------- Here he is in a weird thing I found on Youtube. He plays a narcissistic spaceship captain who reviews video games with kids. It's only interesting because it's actually the best acting I have seen from him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtiQqI192Co&t=290s ------- Here he is in probably the most successful movie he was in, Tango and Cash. Makeup did a great job on him in this movie, because I barely recognize him. Maybe that nose bandage thing really evens out his face. He should probably always have a beard. ------- This is from Trained to Kill. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67OhZafMwRI&t=2649s Here he is talking about his hard piece. ------- I guess he was featured in a couple episodes of Mystery Science Theatre as well. This scene is from Soultaker. They describe his face as "a catcher's mitt with eyes." --------------------------- Well, that's really all I know about Robert Z'dar. Please share your stories of him so we can learn more about him and grow as friends.

verbal enema posted:bustaker I really don't know if Robert Z'dar ever took a bus, but if he did he would probably get a front row seat because he is a great guy.

No bag of sand will equal that chin. Lot of good Z'dar info being shared. I'd like to synchtube Frogtown so we can watch it together, but there doesn't seem to be a full version on Youtube.
