Just binged through this over two days, and I'm glad I watched the whole series. It definitely gets better in the second half, and they've set up an interesting story line for the second season. I thought that there were a lot of good subtle visual gags that reminded me of futurama/arrested development. Things like BoJack's bed being held up by a bunch of books got a bigger laugh out of me than any of the tired "hey look at this character act like an animal!" gags.
