Also I still think that San Diego is a good team and that Arizona is also a good team. The Chargers lost because of bone headed mistakes, and those can be corrected

Yeah I think Arizona is capable of winning the NFC West if Carson continues to play this way all season. The main differences I saw tonight from last year is that (a) the running game is significantly improved, and (b) Carson is not Favreing it like a madman. The GDT got really frustrated with how much Palmer was resorting to his checkdowns and not throwing it to Fitz in double coverage but Palmer didn't have any negative plays, didn't turn the ball over, and finished with an 8.2 YPA and 108 QB rating. The Cardinals will win a lot of games if they can get that out of Carson on a weekly basis. Arians really has molded him into Big Ben, a QB who astounds you with his inaccuracy and boneheadedness at times, and yet statistically he turns out quality starts. For Palmer to have 300 yards, and an 8.2 YPA, with Fitz having only 1 catch for 22 yds, is really something. He threw a pass to 11 different receivers!!

I think the key for the Cardinals is whether Ellington will be able to stay healthy with his foot issues. Stefan Taylor seems to be adequate catching the football, but Jonathan Dwyer is terrible all-around.

Looking at their schedule, Arizona has the Giants up next, then a couple of tough matchups against the 49ers and Broncos, but then the Redskins and Raiders after that. A 4-2 start seems possible. They've also got games against the Cowboys, Rams twice, and Chiefs. So I think they'll have at least 8 wins. It basically comes down to whether they can steal at least one win each against SF and Seattle. They were able to steal one from Seattle last year. So we'll see.
