Well paying your deposit is the only way to get in. $10 goes to the servers for these forums that are the home of Goonwaffe and the other $10 is for supporting Goonwaffe's activities ingame including things like its PLEX payment system. Goonwaffe really is a money saver in the end considering you won't have to pay for game time.
