Jimmerson was ok but nothing special, fighting mostly out of St. Louis, and had knocked over a string of cans before getting booked for UFC. Upon signing the deal he and his team decided to actually find out what BJJ was, found a book, and came to the conclusion that unless Art could catch Royce standing at the start to tap out once he hit the ground. Not only did Art not knock Royce out, he never threw a punch. Art only won four more times in boxing after his UFC fight and lost his last 9 fights before retiring in 2002. Wiki says he's now the boxing coach at a UFC gym, so good for him.
