But they're constantly in motion and never rest against the glass so that I can see it clearly Also I have not seen the freeswimming worms from the OP in a long rear end time. Now that I think about it I haven't seen Berg the emrald crab in a few weeks too I have a mega old pice of poo poo cameraphone I guess I can try to get working if I find it

Good, her kids are starting to get big. She's not quite as bright orange as when I first got her, getting a little hoary, but she's still frisky. This is what i'm gonna do: eat lunch start the water change when the water's lowered, i'll try to catch one of these things and take a pic of it I found the cameraphone but the autofocus is hosed up and doesn't work, so I can't take a pick thru the glass

I basically am waiting to die instead of living a life also I had a good phone with a pretty good camera but I dropped it in the salt water. Current phone is hosed up camera wise and the other one is bearly acceptable

wasn't able to actually catch one, but I was able to expose one. They aren't crabs or worms. Some kind of weird elongated arthropod. I don't think the one i dug out is big enough to move the whole sandbed like I mentioned earlier. I was only able to get one out. All the other ones were gone. I took a bunch of pics, only one or two were able to "focus," but I have to finish the water change before I post them -- the mangrove roots will dry out and get stunted if I dick around too long. also have a few misc pix of the crab and fish

alright so the majority of pics came out as blurry crap, especially the first few when the thing had its head out. This particular one is a lot smaller than the others, but it's not the smallest one in there. But here it is:        I was taking pics as fast as it would go. After being totally out it was completely buried in and invsable within 5-10 seconds. once it started digging it was fast as gently caress. Next water change I'll try to find more Heres a bonus crab:

Sweet crab. As far as the other deep sea hell beasts lurking in your tank, they look and sound like one of the 'pods, probably an amphipod or isopod. Should be harmless sand dwelling buddies that eat fish poop.

so there a lot more of them now, or maybe they're more active, or maybe i'm just noticing them more. counted 5 within 3 inches of sand all of them have receded to the interior this morning when I looked @ the tank one of my corals was flipped completely upside down, dunno how that happened
