but the worms rely on me now. they can't live outside the aquarium; my actions brought them here so they are reling on me for their wellbeing. it would be wrong to kill them unless it was in a hilarious as gently caress way https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdaM5Mv-TTo

Somewhere I read that invertebrates are an important food source for animals. From what SWC wrote, I have instead learned that not only are these invertebrates unkillable, some of them are also stealth.

Welp, looked at the tank for the first time today, one of the corals is 90% skeletonized. Not sure what to do with it. It's actually the one furthest from the sand bed

Good! He was creeping around earlier. He loves to find weird niches to chill in.

Is there a way to nominate mascots? Because the horrible worm creatures SWC has been nurturing should be the mascot for Pet Island. They completely embody its principles.

Status update: Still having water quality issues. No nitrates or w/e, just heavy planktons. Also i didn't realize it but the way i've been doing water changes has gradually increased the salinity to loving retarded levels. Had some coral dieback, pretty bad for the one, that frag might not survive. One of the pom poms lost a pom. I moved some poo poo around and redid some stuff, and everything is doing a lot better. I got 3 coral frags in there: the one on death's door, i guess whatever is a kenya tree?? It's a fully soft non encrusting. this one likes to open up in the day and go to sleep at night. doing better but not real great some kind of bigger polyp stoney one. when the sun goes down this motherfucker comes up. If i turn the lights off completely, it'll come out completely. has obvious daily improvement somehow i bought all these corals as frags online (stupid, but all local sources were like 2x-3x cost and were trash) and they changed from cool colerations to all of them are poo poo brown now. wtf Saw more wormsign, there were some fuckin heavy excavations somehwere cause a big chunk of sandbed was flipped upside down. disturbed plant rooting. strange encrustations have been slowly forming on the glass and other stuff, i would guess they're tubes for fan worms but they're absolutely tiny as gently caress and i have never seen the fan. also they actually have been getting bigger in a spiral form. some of them are now "very small" instead of "tiny" Suicide Sam E. posted:Is there a way to nominate mascots? So i need to get some kind of bigger/ better filtration situation. any goon advice? Can't you like, stick a pokey thing into the dirt until it comes out because you pissed it off? Maybe get some tongs or a net? I have no idea but I am so curious.

i dunno where the love worm is. somewhere it's still digging around but I haven't been able to see it. Skimmer spontaneously went from not doing poo poo to vomiting out 20 gallons of poo poo per minute the move is almost certain not to happen now, we'll see. In the meantime i'm trying to get the poo poo half decent looking, will try to post some pics goldies kids are loving crazy as poo poo now getting drat near huge. the blue guys are hyper brutal and constantly harry them now, they're like half an inch long and are running the tank like rabid dogs, kinda funny https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdaM5Mv-TTo
