I still have things to do this afternoon I can't delve into the rabbit hole that is ARCA at Talladega yet. How do people not die there every ARCA race

Talladega isn't even that bad compared to Daytona prior to it being repaved. I think it was the 2009 race that had like 6 scary multi-car wrecks, including one that broke Patrick Sheltra's back.

This is one of my all-time favorite finishes (trucks at Mansfield in 2008):

Not actually NASCAR, but they're close enough to Tour Modifieds that I'm posting it anyways, because it's that awesome:

Also this. I have only been to a couple dirt tracks and while I like to watch it I have mostly gone to paved tracks and watching mods and supers is some of the best racing I've seen live. Watching a good car start a mod race in like 11th or 12th and watching him pick through the field over the course of 100 or 150 laps is some of the most entertaining poo poo ever no matter what kind of surface they are running on.

Mike Stefanik's run from around 12th or 14th to the win in the last 30 or so laps at last years Thompson Speedway Icebreaker is still one of my favorite finishes. I will admit I'm biased because I was a Stefanik fan and I was there for it, but goddamn it was fun to watch.
