I have a iphone 5 from like a month or two after in came out and still have 7.5 gigs of available space. I have 2 gigs of pictures and .5 gigs of text messages and a couple random apps. 16 gigs is pretty sweet for me, no games/music/podcasts. I bet there are a lot of people out there like me, the 64/128 bump seems like one hell of a deal don't know why people are so upset. I surf the web, text, and listen to pandora and check email for work/personal life, the only things I use my phone for really.

So maybe it's just the software to deal with NFC is not stable on their end and they're restricting it to trusted partners for the time being.

When I read impressions about the watch from "watch people", one thing they've said Apple got right is the fit, finish, and physical details, beating out other watches at similar price points. I feel like that's one thing you've absolutely got to nail in a product that's going to be called a watch, and something every other competitor has failed to deliver.

It's also the one area Apple consistently has no other equal in -- no one has yet been able to match the level of fit and finish Apple puts into the iPhone. Once the watch hits stores and people can actually see what they're like in person, I don't think the current competition (the moto 360 or whatever samsungs latest iteration is) will look too good in comparison.

I don't know why people have a hard time conceiving of the force exerted on a phone in a pocket. The 6+ has the disadvantage of being big enough that the pant folding at the hip acts as a pressure on the middle of the phone because the top of the phone is above that fold and the bottom is below.

Consider:


Without the phone, the pants will fold into the leg. With a smaller phone, the pants will fold above where the phone sits. With the phablet, the pants will fold in such a way that pushes the middle of the phone into the leg. Since the phone isn't sharp and won't cut the jeans, it'll bend.

Better than your transaction history working wrong. I haven't used apple pay yet, but I added my Amex card and it showed my recent transactions. It shows a $99 charge at the gas station yesterday, when I only spent about $40.

I freaked out and checked Amex's website, and it shows the proper $40 charge. I'm assuming the gas station just puts a $99 credit check/hold on the account when you swipe, and the website is smart enough to show the actual charge, while the passbook app is not.

Have they said anything about how the apple upgrade plan works with the delay on the 12? If you got the 11 at release you will have made 13 payments when the 12 comes out, or 14 for pro max and mini. Are the 13th and 14th payments refunded or put towards the cost of the new phone, or are you just out those payments?
