the controllers tend to stop at specific numbers of channels so it stops scaling up depending what size nand chips they use & this is why sometimes u get lower bandwidth on the smaller capacities its limited for sequential stuff by sata iii atm they have lower latency because its inherently faster tho theadder fucked around with this message at 09:15 on Sep 12, 2014 |

SSDs eliminate this. for general computing this is much more significant than data throughput.
