Undervolting too much might lead to instability, so torture test it with some benchmarks and something like FAHBench (the Folding@Home benchmark) to make sure your undervolt is stable. You might be able to achieve the same temperature benefit by turning down the power limit, but that might impact performance more than a manual undervolt. One caveat is that some SATA boards have four plugs - two internal SATA and two eSATA - but only two of them are usable at the same time. There are of course some multi-port boards available where you can connect four or more, but don't get tricked by the photos.

Fibre optic HDMI cables can also be used over longer distances. The advantage of that is that you don't need conversion boxes at each end; the optic-to-copper transciever is built into the the plugs and powered by the device itself. Twisted pair video is useful in convetion centers and stuff like that, since you can just put in a bunch of TP cables and use the same cables for video, ethernet or landline or whatever.

The other computer might just not recognize the RAIDZ partitions? Does it see any partitions at all? If not, it looks like you've lost your data.

Steam also has a big-screen mode that's made for being controlled with a controller.

Party Boat posted:Yeah big picture mode is generally very good and Steam's controller mapping is almost absurdly flexible
