If I use a 4 pin fan Y cable (connect two 4 pin fans to a single motherboard 4 pin header), will I get PWM speed control on both fans? I mean, I know the mobo won't treat them separately, but I am curious how it will report and control fan speed.

Also, would it matter at all if one of the fans is 120mm and the other was 140mm?


edit: I think I found my answer -



Looks like only one of the fan's speeds is reported to the mobo, but the PWM signal is sent to both fans.

Not sure if this is the best thread for this, but has anyone seen a network kvm device that has HDMI input, can do atleast 1080p, can be remote controlled by software or a web interface, and doesn't cost $1k?

I only really need it for a single remote console.
