Considering the Butler seems to be the same one (and he's not old and grey), I think that whatever the cloaked guy's managed to do has kicked those two into a divergent timeline rather than fifty years into the future. The Butler should've had recognised the protagonist in some regard if it were in the future, given he would've been someone of importance to the family. Even if there were just an old picture on a wall, or a report of him going missing fifty years ago, there'd still be something in the house of a family this distinguished. That said though, the same points are relevant. The Butler didn't recognise us, and It's been fifty years since ability users were last seen. Also, avoid the black piece. I agree with Bobbin in that we should avoid it until there's a better understanding of how the Go board actually affects things.
