Challenge #6 was skipped. Challenge #7 passed. Challenge #8 was skipped. Challenge #9 passed. C.O.U.R.I.E.R. Headquarters, 3:04 A.M. Founded by Benjamin Franklin following the Revolutionary War, C.O.U.R.I.E.R. exists as an officially unofficial way to handle threats too weird for the rest of the world’s intelligence community. The few outside the organization that know anything about them vary radically on the subject of whether C.O.U.R.I.E.R. is all that’s holding the world together, or whether it has the potential to tear it apart. However, one fact is indisputable. C.O.U.R.I.E.R. always delivers. * * The most dangerous men and women in the world were all gathered at a conference table behind a sealed vault on a sub-basement level of The Satchel. Although secret agents make a career of playing it cool, there was an unspoken tension in the room as they silently tried to think through what could possibly be important enough to call in every Overnight-Level Operative on the continent. Each of them had found a blank envelope with an authentic Scinde Dawk stamp in the corner waiting for them this morning, the signal for an immediate return to headquarters. A screen comes to life on a previously blank wall and the head of C.O.U.R.I.E.R. comes scowling into focus. ”Operatives. My time is too valuable to waste on pleasantries, so I’ll expedite this. One week ago, the world’s leading researcher in the field of consciousness transference was found dead. Most of his laboratory was destroyed, but we managed to recover some notes indicating he was working towards a breakthrough. I’ve been listening to the science division explain this all day, but long story short any mind could inhabit any body.” One of you snorts, “So? What leads you to believe this is a threat to C.O.U.R.I.E.R.?” Cyprus grimaces. “Because the Postmaster who brought this to my attention has gone missing. There’s only one organization out there with the capabilities to have pulled this off, W.A.S.T.E. I don’t know how any of them could have survived the Tanzania incident, but it wouldn’t be the first time they’ve surprised us.” Soru, C.O.U.R.I.E.R.-Aligned Agent has gone missing day 0! After the murmurs died down, Cyprus continued. ”I know you’re all reaching for your bug-out bags, but let me stop that right now.” The Postmaster General flipped a switch beneath his desk to reveal a secret panel containing a row gleaming red buttons hidden behind a glass panel built. “Each of you has been fitted with a standard C.O.U.R.I.E.R. biometric compliance device, as per company policy. Any attempts to flee will be meet with swift pyrotechnic discipline.” Cyprus had the decency to pretend to look sorry as he took a pull from his cigar. “Look, I could just frag you right now and call it a day, but we need to find Postmaster Soru before it’s too late. I know he’d never give up anything voluntarily, but he can only hold out so long. If I know W.A.S.T.E., this is just their opening move. I’m going to need every one of you, even the low-down dirty animals wearing the skin of good people, to work together or this could be checkmate. Every act of sabotage will only make them stronger. This won’t be easy, but C.O.U.R.I.E.R. has never failed to deliver.” Even behind the vault doors, all fifteen operatives could hear the sounds of sirens now blaring down the halls. * * * Welcome to Something Loud Comes Next, a game of mafia! This is a game for 15 players, with extremely experimental mechanics. The original setup was created by soru and I have lovingly At the beginning of the game, each player will be assigned a certain number of points in 4 categories in their role PM(Violence, Diplomacy, Tech, and Intelligence). Throughout the game, roughly twice per game day, the players will be presented with challenges which they must work together to overcome using those points. Win a challenge and all town players who participated gain the reward points, which can buy items below. Lose a challenge and the scum team gets the points. Here is what you need to know:

As the operatives exit the briefing room and rush down the hall, they enter the mission control room to find complete silence, other than the alarms going off. Opop slams his hand down next to a technician working on a console with a frantic look on her face. "Damnit, where's the emergency? Where's our briefing!" She shakes her head rapidly and stutters out "W-we don't know! There's too many reports coming in at once, we're having trouble determining which is real! We're going to need a little time to sort it off. Magnus shoots out the blaring sirens and takes a seat. For lack of anything more pressing to do in the moment, you follow suit and begin discussing the traitors, never taking your eyes off each other. Day One Begins The first challenge will begin whenever Rarity is at work or once everyone has posted or when I get bored.
