Flyers everywhere with huge bold lettering "BREAST CANCER FUNDRAISER" something like that. Pink paper, put it the gently caress everywhere one week before the event. Make it light-hearted. DO NOT INCLUDE STATISTICS!! EVERYBODY ALREADY KNOWS HOW TERRIBLE BREAST CANCER IS. At most put something like "Breast cancer is the number 1 killer of women today" or some poo poo, not some ridiculous laundry list of horrible statistics and numbers. You want people to feel like this is a fun regular event that happens to donate to good causes, not something being put on by the hospital to raise funds.

Ask other local acts to promote your show. Go to open mics, do a 5 minute set, and promote the show. Canvas. Stop people and tell them about your show etc. IT'S A LOT OF WORK AND NOT AS EASY AS MAKING A POST ON THE INTERNET.

Ask local DJs (especially college radio) to plug your event. Even better is get the local radio to allow your troupe on-air for 5 or 10 mins then plug your event.

Offer your regulars perks for bringing people and/or handing out flyers (also known as a "street team".) Perks include free entry. Yes, you are losing sales on your regulars but they're bringing fresh blood who will pay+might show up next time.

etc etc
