Thinking of starting Andre Roberts tonight as my wr 3 instead of mike Evans or reuban randle. Is this over thinking. I do get return yards in this league and he does kickoffs and punts. Could also flex him instead of ridley too. .5 ppr

Just as a general piece of advice, I wouldn't start Taliaferro this week, unless I was truly desperate. Harbaugh has made it pretty clear the job is still Pierce's, and while I could certainly see him losing the job in the next few weeks because Taliaferro legit looks better, there's no way to predict how the snaps will break down this week beyond Pierce getting the first shot.

I asked this in the other thread because it's a roster move but also a sit/start for this week. Jordan Matthews or Sammy Watkins? I can't tell if they are even comparable or in different tiers. I was shocked to see someone drop Watkins. He did have a pretty bad game, though.

I'm having the same debate, since Bell managed to be worse than Gerhart last week against a worse run defense. Now Bell is up against a tough defense, is fighting an injury, and there's at least some reason for optimism for Gerhart. Both options suck.

That's what I was thinking on Cruz but with Hall out for Washington that secondary doesn't looks so good.

I'd trust Ertz a little more than Paul but I think they'll score similarly.

^ of your 3 guys, I like Smith Sr the most, just because I think he's gonna go outta his way to destroy the Panthers' corners. So, for me the decision is between rolling with Cruz against a pretty bad secondary, or Cooks in what figures to be a no-defense-all-offense shootout.

I'm in the same situation with Patterson but decided to play him because I think they'll try to get him the ball on short passes and in space to make things easy on Teddy. I can also see him getting a few carries.

I'd roll with Cruz. I'm doing it in all leagues. I think he has a great game against Washington's injured secondary.

Boldin is an intriguing option whose value increases of VD is out.

Yeah. And also the niners have gone 1 and 2 so they'll be extremely fired up to get a critical win. Going to 1 and 3 is going to make everyone question whether this team will even make the playoffs. This is an at-home must-win game, which will be in good weather, and kaep is gonna throw the ball a lot to run the score up.

If I had Kaep my one worry would be whether the pressure leads him to throw picks.
