I was a little lukewarm on the game at first. The unfunny try hard bits are pretty dense early on. I was bad at the traversal mechanics and the early guns aren't very exciting. It hits its stride fairly quickly though and I loving love it now and I cant stop playing it. I am like 7 hours in and its loving great. Once you get the hang of the traversal mechanics and get more weapons its a goddamned blast. GT WinnebagoWarrio - I havent played the multiplayer yet but would like to

Maybe it gets old later on, but so far the voice acting and writing comes off as natural and fun. Yeah I'm on the same boat, there's a few times I've been playing with some mates and have gone "look at that motherfucker" only for the main guy to say it a few seconds later

This game is a lot of fun. But I think I'm stupid, because once I was in the MP I couldn't figure out how to quit back to SP. I ended up having to exit the game itself via the pancakes button and relaunch it.

Find a MP booth like you would in single player (yellow smiley face on your minimap), and activate it to return to the campaign. But quitting early only hurts you! Remember, MP mode is a round of 4 activities, followed by a night defense mission, and then all points are tallied and rewards given (a slot machine spins, and the number of reels you can earn prizes on is dependent on your score - up to 5 reels can be activated. The first one is free, for those who really suck). You're then given the option to keep playing MP, or return to single player.

So, apparently an ad from microsoft that said Sunset Overdrive was an xbone and pc exclusive was an "accident". Can't wait to get this in 6 months off of steam.

The game itself is rough early on but gets fun. The humor is dudebro-ish but still kinda funny. I really dig some of the weapons, and the AMP/upgrade system is unique enough to keep me playing through single player. Multiplayer is kind of crap. Played a game mode where the objective was "Kill this big monster with regenerating health as fast as possible!". One guy ran around killing random monsters and never once attacked the main boss. He places first because he had the most kills. That's dumb.

Especially if you go into it without any really beefed up weapons. You're not going to get any points and the dude with the insane gun with super-amps is just going to hoover up all the kills and points. Game has been really fun up to now. Not really seen any memes either. He said "much kill" when I did a dog mission and there was a callout to Gymkhana but mostly it's been fourth wall breaking, "I have to do a mission for you now? Didn't see THAT coming." Kinda stuff. The way people were going on about it being "MEMES THE GAME" I was expecting to see dickbutt posters and everyone to say "le" all the time.

Anyone that has collected all of the cell phones know where the one that is supposed to be located at the far southeast of the starting area would be. I've purchased the map and I'm literally standing on top of the icon, which is in between two mack trucks, but I don't see anything.

Is there any way to restart the game from the beginning? Unlike most games there doesn't seem to be a "new game" or "continue game" option, instead the title screen has my gamertag and an option to select another or create a new account or something. So I guess you just always sign into your account and continue your progress. But there must be a way to restart once you've beaten the game's story? Only played the game half hour so far and done tutorial stuff. My girlfriend's coming round tomorrow and I think she'll enjoy it. On the starting screen there's an option to create another account, but since I've only made half an hour of progress anyway I figure may as well just wipe my current progress and start over.

But if you go to My Games and Apps, highlight SO, push the pancakes button, and choose Manage Game, you can delete your save data. It's the separate small tile. Note that this will delete your settings too.

I'm having a good time so far. I'm about 5 hours in now and it's fun to grind around the city shooting zombies. Haven't tried the multiplayer yet but I will once I finish the campaign And gosh does it look pretty :>

All of the missions can be replayed by selecting them from.... I think its the "Leaderboards" tab in the game menu. I'm not sure if that will work for you or not, but if you want some do-overs without undoing the rest of your progress it is an option.

Took a few days off of SO to play the Evolve beta thing but got back into it last night. Just a shitload of fun and it gets better and better as you go on. I am going to be sad when its over but there seems to be a decent amount of content. I am like 12 hours in and it seems like I still have a few more hours to go just with the campaign and side missions. And I havent touched multiplayer yet. Or done hardly any of the challenges.

I got to the part where Fizzco starts bombing the city after you almost escape on the boat. How much more is there? From the missions themselves it looks like not much.

I really love the god-like feeling of movement this game gives you. Once I unlocked the air dash I started getting a Prototype vibe, which is a very good thing. There's a surprising amount of nuance to getting around, and when you pull it off it's immensely satisfying. Despite having quick travel points I don't use them, grinding on poo poo is just too much fun. The upgrade that leaves a fire trail on everything you grind on is loving metal. My favorite moment so far was the dragon fight, had an awesome Scott Pilgrim moment.

I got Called to Duty when I was only halfway through so I'm gonna have to pick this back up later. But Halo and Far Cry 4 is coming out. I've never had a loving good game backlog before its awesome.
