I'm driving a dually right now because it's new and awesome. Sure I feel a bit wasteful commuting in it but need to get some miles on it for the first oil change and the fiat is busted. But mostly because I can so why now.

I use the gasbuddy app when I'm on road trips and such. I can save like 20 cents a gallon by waiting until the next city or driving a mile past the ones just off the interstate. Same thing in town. I saved 35c a gallon on diesel by driving one block over which makes a difference with a 30gal tank in the 3500.
