WebM is a video container that is royalty-free and usable in browsers via HTML5 <video> tag. VP8 is an incredible video compression format, and VP9 is even better. WebM works with an audio track or without. basically webm is the loving tits and its the future, hth

If this value does not equal the actual number of frames it should be treated as an error. nooooooooooooooooo guess i can still just set a cap on # frames and stream them anyway if the playback happens during loading

an 8-bit APNG will have the same dithering issues. it only goes away if you go to 24-bit APNGs, but then there goes your file size.
