as someone who has enjoyed early access games you should never buy early access games the ones i did enjoy tricked me into thinking they weren't until i bought them and then oops steam says it's early access

I feel like I got my $10 and $idk like 3 or 4? worth out of starbound and coin crypt respectively. Early Access is really just an extra "caveat emptor" label on what is already a risky investment into an ephemeral experience. If you bought Starbound I guess you have to defend it's buggy mess if you want to keep using the Nightly builds so something because boy-howdy do those guys get angry when you call out their lovely game for taking 2 years and still isn't anywhere near completion.Prop Wash posted:And if you don't like the taste of grinding then you can get the gently caress right out of this thread
