ok heres some i know, also some words to make this not look like just a collection of links that people will not click on Dragon Seed - Battle on Holy Plane https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cL_xLGoLcx8 rented this game once long ago, was like "oh gently caress yeah its like pokemon but with dragons" but then it turned out to be really, really loving bad, and also most of the "dragons" were incredibly lame, as in, there was like some lovely fat clown thing and they were like "lol its a dragon" and i was all "bullshit!!!!". they did have a door dragon though, as in, an actual sentient door, that would kill things, which was kind of cool i guess. bad game, tho, dont get me wrong. can you imagine just pouring your soul out into music, jamming, living your life like a flashback scene from the movies where it's a lot of alcohol, you own your mix board, and just a lot of loving work. you play your music and everyone's like "yeah, this is really loving good man. holy poo poo" and then the boss walks in and is like "yeah, it's gonna be for this lovely game named evergrace" like how do you bounce back from a depression like that?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXZf2BgYGJw Spectrobes was a pretty bland Pokemon ripoff, some nice ideas and an interesting combat system, but kinda hampered by that early DS game syndrome where touchscreen and microphone gimmicks NEEDED to be at the core of gameplay, so you spent most of the time digging up the same few things (which was a pain in the butt in the desert world) and literally shouting at them But it also had a part where you used a planet as a giant laser satellite to get to the final boss and this was the song for it, so it had that The sequel was one of the best-looking games on the DS with some unique designs but fell flat since the core combat turned into 'press button repeatedly while AI partner gets itself killed'

I don't hate it but Sonic 3D Blast's Saturn soundtrack. It's really telling how the Genesis and Saturn games almost identical except for better graphics and St on the Saturn version, but it just feels so much better.
