While most other teams were making improvements to their rosters in the offseason their big acquisition was Tim "at least I'm not Joe Corvo" Gleason. The injuries to J. Staal and Skinner cemented them as front runners in the McDavid sweepstakes. Yeah, I'm not too high on them this season. Also Cam Ward still gets starts because he has a massively bloated contract and won a Conn Smythe like last century which somehow is still relevant to some people in TYOOL 2014.
