The new Elizabeth is a Caster and you'll have to have finished Orleans to be able to do the event (campaign quests will be half-AP through the end of the month). There's also going to be a new update like the one that showed which wave it is/let you change battle commands. It's going to introduce a new item that'll restore AP and I guess if you use that or a Quartz, you'll be able to restore past your max AP. The update will let you choose which battle graphic to use for ascended Servants and it looks like they'll also show information about enemy classes before you start a quest. There's a few more things but those are some of the bigger changes. They also plan on releasing the new chapter after the event, in the early part of November.

I'm saving my quartz and summoning tickets for Diarmuid/possible new character(s) I might like. Hikaru Midorikawa is listed in the voice actor credits on the official site and he hasn't done anyone introduced so far, so I feel like he has to show up sometime sooner rather than later (or at least I want to believe this). I'm just going to quietly keep trying to ascend Chevalier D'Eon, Lancer Cu, and Heracles in the meantime.

Oh, it looks like they released a little information about the next FGO update in early November. They're increasing star generation for quick cards, the quick bonus, and overkill attacks and letting you get stars and build NP from attacks that miss/do zero damage. It seems they're also redoing the daily quests in mid-November and they're going to be resetting the clear bonuses for them as well, so if you haven't gotten any yet, now's a good time. Also, the third chapter is supposed to come out early next month!

I didn't/probably won't get the 40-pumpkin ascension material, but I got every other one, all of the CEs and Elizabeths, and just about all of the gold statues, so this has been a good event for me. Plus I got to finally ascend/max-level my Heracles!

I used the single summoning ticket I had on the new gacha and I got Anne Bonny/Mary Read! This is literally the luckiest I have ever been in this game so I'm very excited. They upped the Servant drop rate for gacha from 20% to 40% (and bumped the CE rate from 60% to 40%). I didn't read super closely so I don't know if this is temporary for the new gacha or it's intended to be permanent, but either way it's a good time to roll.

The new daily quests are coming out on the 18th. Ascension/skill material quests are being combined and there's going to be one for each class, one on each day of the week. Experience is going to be split between three classes all the time now; Lancer/Assassin/Berserker, Saber/Rider/Berserker, Archer/Caster/Berserker. That's going to rotate from Monday through Saturday, and Sunday is going to be the QP quest. Master experience and bond quests seem to be totally gone. The Mana Prism clear reward for each quest is going to reset each week and now all the daily quests will have four difficulty levels.

I even had four tickets and all I got out of the whole thing was Lancelot (I already have a maxed Heracles) and my first Kaleidoscope. I was hoping for at least an EMIYA…

God I love the writing in these events. Gilgamesh just showed up and started complaining about people getting on his case about not being able to get Saber during his event, but he wanted to get her too and he couldn't, even after doing the 10-card draw.
