I am trying to create an interesting Google Earth presentation. When a placemark in a Google Earth presentation is clicked on, it can reveal a balloon with textual information along with a picture. I can add the text, but I can't figure out how to add the image. I have watched and read the Google Earth tutorials that are supposed to explain how to do this, but it assumes a level of knowledge that I don't have. Step 3 in the tutorial is where they lose me... "Click on the "Add image..." button, and copy and paste the following image URL (which references an online photo of a bristlecone pine tree) into the Image URL box. Then click OK. http://earth.google.com/outreach/images/stories_adelia3.jpg " Ok so this tells me how to add THIS image into an information balloon, but not how to add a picture of my choosing. I tried linking an image from Flickr with this address " https://www.flickr.com/photos/enriqueescalona/2844428731/in/photostream/ " but it doesn't work. I tried googling how to turn my picture into a .jpg webpage like the example given in the Google Earth tutorial, but I have found nothing helpful in the results. Can anyone tell me how to do it? Thanks for your help.
