gently caress it, here's the moddoc.

In retrospect, giving EVERYONE more powers was a mistake, especially among the scum. But it was the only way I could think of to keep scum from solving the game. Think I overdid it.

Amusing things:

The bystander effect hit hard. NOBODY shot at Mills.
That 'these people are town' post by Somber made me chuckle. I'm sorry, Somber.
The only person who actually managed to hit Rarity did so because CPig decided to shoot EXAKT. Whether this was an intentional attempt to ferret out a busser or not, I don't know.
The 3Ps really got the poo poo end of the stick this game. PMom, who wanted to shoot at Rarity, was jailed and killed, and the bullets flew around in such a way that Winvirus could not possibly have won. Really, that was only possible if a lot of things went a very certain way, but I still feel bad about it.

Maybe you could do the same setup, but have the game keep going until a scum majority is reached? We probably would have only gotten one more day out of it, but it would have been interesting. Might be something for more players, though.

I don't think it would have mattered for this particular game, but next time I don't thing the Mafia should have any power roles other than their kill.

I could have claimed something that would make me a priority to be killed by the Mafia but I didn't want to risk too many townies thinking I was full of poo poo and aiming for me so I opted to not say anything about it instead and treated myself like a Vanilla.

Yeah I shot at you because of the two possible targets I had in MMM's big post, you seemed scummier to me than TT. In retrospect, definitely should have shot at Mills, haha.

The idea was to kind of distill Mafia down to its essence, and it almost succeeded at that.

I might run this again with a tamer set-up some time in the future.

I think the main problem town had with this game is nobody cared to hunt scum, just to set up a system that didn't help anyone when there weren't any scum suspects.

I have no idea why the day cop investigated me either when Taste was a shoe-in to shoot me, especially after I asked him to.
