what the gently caress did they do to battle mode why did they replace characters and/or karts having unique stats with this wierd custom kart bullshit where every other piece has the same stats why is it in general worse then double dash in every single way, a game that came out over a decade ago also the driving was all hosed up but maybe that's just because I was playing with a wiimote instead of a real controller

most of the mario karts are worse than double dash, if you're setting the best game in the series (besides maybe the snes one) as the standard then of course you're gonna be disappointed

anyway I just remembered that the wiiu version of tekken tag 2 is the only version with tekken ball mode and also has a mode where you eat mario mushrooms and turn into a giant heihachi and poo poo so it's the best version

it's not really fair to compare mario world w/ 3D games, and with the 3D mario games each one is subtly different from the last that you can enjoy them in their own ways there are some cool mario kart games that aren't double dash or the first one that have their own reasons for liking them, mk8 just feels like a step back in every direction besides having okay online play but I digress
