I like that this game lets you collect hairstyles for your custom unit. It's kind of adorable.

Satellaview is the best view. Anyway, I really like that guest-unit choice. I think it helps future plays, because what's the first thing you do? Give different answers in the tutorial for the hell of it.

Ah. So the issue is not clearing the map at all, but carving your way through that wall of steel as stylishly as possible.

Wait, is he laying siege to his own castle? Is that a thing kings can do?

Goodness. Yes, let us read the adventures of Steve, scorned by the RNG.

It would be pretty funny to just wreck up everyone with joke weapons.

Do you usually just get joke weapons from How's Everyone, or is that some kind of streetpass thing?

FoolyCharged posted:I'd just like to point out that Cord chopping trees for the hell of it was much more effective than Luke's super secret training(tm). It's strangely amusing to me since it fits with the characterization they gave Luke with the prequel chapters. Poor Luke. I suppose at least the game won't kick him so much now that we're out of the prologue.

It's not really a Fire Emblem game until you take insane and/or boring routes to recruit EVERYONE.

Well, here's hoping Steve actually gets some Mag, since that's actually a pretty neat haircut.

Pirates will walk on water, just to cleave at you. sorry not sorry Anyhow, is this your first fort ambush? Glazius fucked around with this message at 04:06 on Feb 10, 2015 |

Well, if Talys trained against trees that might explain why an actual military took them apart.

Dang. That's some quality level for a first-timer. And... Steve has capped speed. That makes sense.

So bonus points for on-site thief, minus points for artillery clerics?

And Steve still has no Mag. Bless you, Steve. Bleve. Anyway, wow, they didn't hesitate to dial up the craven for the boss, did they?

Single-chapter buff items. Those seem like things you'll continuously save for later.

Support Pope Steve! Also I like that you can use Rescue Staff shenanigans to good effect on a map where you start out surrounded.

At this point I think the game is just pointing and laughing at your ridiculous assumption that a My Unit mage would actually get Mag.

Oh boy. So we've got to get a squishy mage in there to talk to somebody.

At that kind of movement range they might as well be teleporting. Wow wow wyverns. They do still hit the first thing in their path, right? Or are you going to have to keep your squishy units 18 squares away?
|
# ¿ Jul 23, 2015 19:44 |

Well, you've already survived wyverns that could smack down your party from anywhere. What more can they throw at you?

I suppose if you're going to go for a gimmick, it's a lot easier to plan out a possible single death by ambush than it is to, say, bury people in a ton of dudes and watch them try to dig themselves out. Also this does kind of interlock with the thing we've been doing where we kill all the assassin commanders. Hard to sustain personnel in the face of that. Eremiah seems like she's headed for barking orders to an empty room.

Oh lord it's just hit me what role Steve plays in this army. She comes in as a normal guard, has no special stat advantages, Jagen's trying to find something for her to do, and everybody persists in messing with her hairstyle and fashion choices. You guys, Steve is the company mascot. Who is still on the front lines because like fun this army can spare anybody to be out of combat.

I'm glad they patched in her post-recruit reaction to betrayal. Even though that might come back to bite you, it's still better than her gleefully cutting down her own citizens for XP.

Huh. So the Wolfguard just get... completely defanged if you can get Marth over to a city. It seems off they should have that prebattle conversation and then not really be relevant.
