That ending doesn't make any sense because she was definitely moving around without a projector.

And you know how the rest of that meme goes.

I haven't actively watched the Fox seasons since the show came out and I'm going back and doing a watch-through. It's neat to see how many good plots and character traits in the later seasons got spun off of one-off gags, like Barry saying he walked in on his parents doing S&M, or Roger discovering chocodiles.

However, the episode where Roger discovers disguises so he can go out in the world is in direct contradiction to everything we know about his character.

Noticed some background stuff in The Longest Distance Relationship. First in the restaurant with Hayley and Millionaire Matt Davis you can see Chuck White in the background. Then when they get to the future you see Scott Grimes walking outside of the Smith house.

You know know how American Dad loves to do highly specific parodies? Like how the episode "You are here" is based on that one documentary about a dead mall? Well I recently started listening to this novel FantasticLand on Audible and a few chapters in I realized "Oh! This must be what the American Dad episode Familyland is based on!" because they essentially have the same basic plot where an amusement park is cut off from the rest of the world and the people trapped there break off into individual tribes based around different areas of the park. Except here's the twist: Familyland aired in 2014 and Fantasticland was published in 2016. So there's a chance the novel was actually inspired by the American Dad episode rather than the other way around. Fantasticland is also a really good story so far and I recommend it, it does the world war z thing of having the narrative told retroactively through a series of interviews with different people. The perfect novel for anyone who's ever wanted one very specific episode of American Dad to be longer and played straight as a horror story as opposed to a comedy.

That's a bit of a stretch. 70 years ago? Pfft. I think Itchy and Scratchy land from the Simpsons is more likely inspiration.

It's simpler times because it's back when nobody was worried about possible racist implications of the hit 1984 movie Splash.
