I just rewatched Tears Cryeth Unto Heaven and I just can't stop laughing at this low-budget play that nonetheless has a fully motorized stage platform lift to transition between basement and upstairs.

I guess I meant more like, everything else was simple practical effects, normal setpieces, gobo projections and black-clad stagehands. They could easily just shift the props, turn the set, or drop a scrim for the basement transition. Instead they went with a full-stage pneumatic lift which would easily be most of the budget of a simple character play like that. It's hilarious.

I think it was mentioned in an episode that the CIA just pumps out another clone when the therapist dies. I think Stan brings it up to him and that's the therapist's explanation. I want to say its the episode when Stan gets addicted to miniatures and has the best Steve line in the series. "AND THIS GUY IS loving A DOG!"

I'm pretty sure you're right where he dies first during the ant episode and when Stan asks him how he is still alive during the Globetrotter one he gives the clone explanation. I have also watched this show way too much...
