At least with American Dad they make you think "Wait, is that Carl Reiner?!" I don't know how the producers are able to get so many of them. That's mostly because they're usually playing themselves and get Marge to say "Hey, aren't you *guest star* ?" Here they get amazing guest starts to just play actual characters.
