  Mafia is a party game that can be played in a group or online. The premise is that a group of townsfolk (the good guys) try to discover and root out the Mafia menace hiding amongst them. The game has day and night phases: During the day everyone attempts to discover who the Mafia are, and vote to eliminate them (execution). During the night discussion is halted and the Mafia choose someone to kill. The game ends when either the Mafia have control of the town or every Mafia member is dead. This game is going to be lynching on simple majority vote, which means that once a specific voter gains a simple majority, the day phase will end and the person who gained the simple majority will get lynched. Possible Roles: BYOB/Town Side BYOB Regular/Vanilla Town: You have no special powers. This will be the role for the majority of town. BYOB Regular with Plat/Cop: You can check a single player's alignment during the night. BYOB IK/Doctor: You can protect anyone during the night from being killed. BYOB Ambassador/Tracker: During the night you can check anyone if they're getting targeted by anyone's power. BYOB IRC Regular/Lie Detector: You can send me a single post every night and ask me if there are any lies in this post. Negative Post Count/FYAD/Scum Side FYAD Regular/Vanilla Scum: You have no special powers. This will be the role for the majority of the scum team. FYAD IK/Cop: You can check a single player's alignment during the night. FYAD Mod/Roleblocker: Can disable a single player's power during the night. Bored Admin/Ralp/Poisoner: You have a one-time night-kill, but the night-kill will be announced the night after (The poster poisoned will be able to post inbetween the poisoning and his actual death and will not be told until it's announced for everyone. The Doctor can save him but only if he does it the night he gets poisoned.) GBS/Third Party Roles GBS IK/Survivor: You have no special powers, your goal is to survive until the end of the game. Votefinder During this game there will be a neat little bot posting in the thread ocasionally that will be counting the votes for us. RULES

Day 1: It's a normal posting day on BYOB. People were posting in their crew threads, talking about their morning coffee, and whatever mundane activity they were doing. When suddenly HiipFire, White Noise Poster Extraordinaire, got probated for a week by a mysterious mod. Further investigation reveals that Leper's Colony is only accessible for admins and that we can't figure out who did it. The People of BYOB do not agree with this decision to suddenly start moderating BYOB and will do everything they can to stop this from happening again. Because of this Ralp decided to create a forum-wide mod challenge which will test the wits of BYOB and of the mysterious mods probating them. Welcome to BYOB Mafia
