Dayton man arrested for allegedly trying to have sex with a van A man was arrested in Dayton on Tuesday after a witness called police and said he attempted to have sex with a van. According to WDTN, officers were called to the 700 block of St. Nicholas Street on Tuesday night when a neighbor called about a man pulling his pants down and swinging on a stop sign. Michael Henson was taken into custody when police arrived and according to a police report, he appeared to be intoxicated. He was only wearing shorts and shoes when officers found him. When officers spoke with the witness who called 911, she told them that she saw him pull his shorts down and attempt to have sex with the front grill of a parked van. gleebster posted:Baltimore Sun: Dundalk man charged with attempted murder after barricading self in house over grilled cheese dispute Report: Man arrested for assaulting girlfriend with a taco Blount County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a Maryville man after he threatened to burn down his girlfriend's house and assaulted her with a taco, according to a report from the sheriff's office. Steven Erwin Stokes, 47, of Maryville is charged with domestic assault, aggravated domestic assault, failure to appear to in court for a misdemeanor charge and contempt of court, according to the Blount County Sheriff's Office. The report states an argument started Friday afternoon when Stokes learned his 46-year-old girlfriend had a profile on an online dating website. The girlfriend's adult nephew lives with her and returned from work while the couple argued. The report states Stokes "hit her in the face" and "was tearing up the house." ... When the girlfriend picked up the phone, Stokes picked up a taco. He then pressed the taco into his girlfriend's face and pushed her down the hallway, according to BCSO's report. The girlfriend yelled for her nephew to call the police, but Stokes threatened to attack the nephew if he made the call. Instead of calling the police, the nephew called a neighbor. Stokes attacked the nephew, grabbing him by the neck with both hands. Responding officers noticed "severe redness" on the nephew's neck. On the girlfriend, officers saw "remnants of a taco smeared on her face, as well as her black shirt." Officers observed a cake and additional taco remnants on the kitchen floor. http://www.wbir.com/news/crime/bcso-maryville-man-arrested-for-assault-with-taco/385161219

THOUSANDS of red Skittles that spilled onto Dodge County highway were intended to be fed to cows Sheriff’s officials said it has been reported that the Skittles were intended to be feed for cattle, as they did not make the cut for packaging at the company. Yes, they’re feeding candy to cows — and they’ve been doing it for years. A former farmer told CNN affiliate WBAY that candy makers and bakeries often sell rejects to be used as cattle feed because they provide “cheap carbs.” The practice goes back decades, but it picked up steam in 2012 when corn prices were surging and cattle farmers were looking for a cheaper way to keep their cows and other livestock fed. “(It) is a very good way for producers to reduce feed cost, and to provide less expensive food for consumers,” said Ki Fanning, a livestock nutritionist with Great Plains Livestock Consulting, told CNNMoney at the time. http://fox6now.com/2017/01/18/thousands-of-red-skittles-spill-onto-dodge-county-highway/

Police called to South Euclid Taco Bell due to dispute over 'Fire' or 'Mild' sauce SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio - A very saucy situation brought police to the Mayfield Road Taco Bell on March 12. Employees were concerned when a disgruntled customer held up the drive-thru line because she didn't like the choices of sauce available to her. So, they called South Euclid police. When they arrived, officers saw that the line was backed up by several car lengths, and asked the frustrated Taco Bell customer what the problem was. According to the South Euclid police, she told officers the reason for the holdup was that Taco Bell was out of "Mild" sauce, her preferred condiment, and had only "Fire" sauce on hand. She was also frustrated that Taco Bell would not give her the meal she ordered at half-price for the inconvenience she was facing. Police advised the woman that this customer service matter "was not likely going to be resolved at the drive-thru window, and suggested she return the next day to speak to a manager." She left the restaurant. http://www.newsnet5.com/news/local-news/oh-cuyahoga/police-called-to-south-euclid-taco-bell-due-to-dispute-over-fire-or-mild-sauce

Chef Arrested For Releasing Live Roaches At Anime Song Concert According to police, on the evening of August 28th, Kazuyuki Kawatani, a 33-year-old chef from Osaka Prefecture, scattered at least 20 to 30 live cockroaches into the audience of the Animelo Summer Live 2016 anime song concert, which was being held at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama City. People who were in the audience at the concert told police that they witnessed the suspect release things that appeared to be insects as he was dancing to the live music. Police have stated that the insects released at the event were Turkestan cockroaches, a type of flightless cockroach commonly sold as food for reptiles. They suspect that Kawatani bought the cockroaches at an event for buying and selling animals that was held earlier that day at the arena. It is unclear exactly how he managed to smuggle the cockroaches past the security check point people have to go through when entering the arena. Kawatani was arrested on suspicion of forcible obstruction of a business. Kawatani has admitted to the allegations telling police "The one that released the cockroaches was me." Police are currently attempting to ascertain the motive behind Kawatani's actions. http://www.japankyo.com/2017/03/wac...e-2016.html?m=1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpZIktIqYxI

Boy survives ride through Saratoga County sewer line A 14-year-old boy playing with two friends fell into an open sewer main Saturday and took a half-mile-long ride through a dark, smelly, wet sewer line before Saratoga County sheriff's deputies rescued him. His 20-minute trip through the sewer pipe that traveled under the woods, across a creek and under Route 67 ended loudly. "It was a curdling scream," Sgt. James Leonard said about the boy's cries for help that led deputies to him. The deputies pulled the manhole cover off the county sewer line where it passed through the Curtis Industrial Park. They found the boy clutching the metal railings that serve as steps. http://m.timesunion.com/local/article/Boy-survives-ride-through-Saratoga-County-sewer-11060411.php?cmpid=fbsocialflow
