Given that he's gutting gov services (minimum 25% cuts, 40% for some), his political advisors have probably told him to look frugal.

Even if he wanted too, the President would never fly commercial. Massive security risk. Interesting!

The ridiculous part is that anyone in a developed country would have to sue their own nephew over medical bills, regardless of the logic behind it. I thought you guys now had Obamacare or whatever.

Obamacare isn't a national single-payer plan. It requires us all to have insurance that meets some basic requirements, but can still be lovely. It's still run by for-profit companies who don't enjoy writing checks.

I agree that this is stupid and that this situation shouldn't be happening in the first place, but the woman isn't a monster.

That's pretty much always been his schtick. They're good dad jokes, but they're dad jokes.

Barely relevant to anything, but 'The Hook' is great because the lyrics are literally about how musicians don't have to try to write good music because people will listen to any old trash as long as it has a catchy hook.

e: And it doesn't even have to be an original hook, they used Pachbel's Canon in D for Hook and it became their biggest hit.

So do a lot of songs!
