Yeah, that's good. But with secret Paths we're definitely getting to the next quest card, and bringing out a New Black Rider, which will have a Hide Test for the First Player. But CirclMastr should be able to handle it.Except, there is some sort of penalty for each ally you have.

Only if shadow cards have bad effects for "If the one ring is exhausted". It's probably not that much of an issue currently.

Don't forget the Stock roads +2 threat for Hide tests. Still a pass. Crcl, you have a starting threat of 4 to deal with for the Hide test, so probably go all out if you can to Hide.

One of the black riders has a Steed. This one will engage Circlmastr. As an aside, the hide test should have had +1 for each ally and +2 for the Stock Road. Still would have passed.

I'm trying to work out if we can finish off two of them this turn cause if we can I'll engage one but I don't think it can work. Can anyone else see a way we can manage that?

Engage and kill the one with the steed. My best case scenario is: Defend with Theoden. Bard (ranged), Mirlonde, Faramir (with 1 enemy still in the staging area). Leaves Theoden hurting. Chump block with Envoy of Pelargir. Ranged attack with Legolas and Vassals of Windlord. Only do two damage. Which is not worth it. I reckon we should only engage one this turn, the one with the steed, and kill it. Probably chump block is best (By CirclMaster). If you don't want to lose an Ally, Faramir then Theoden in order of effectiveness for defending. We should be alright for a round or two, as there are no more Black Riders in the deck since it came from the discard pile.

Threat should also go up. And GTR's board updated. That means CirclMaster is looking at engaging Black Riders. So Let's plan around engaging both Black Riders this Round, and possibly getting a third drawn out. Or we can stall and I lower threat for everyone, or just CirclMastr. If we push for it, I think I'd play Northern Tracker to start working on clearing the Locations in the staging area. If we stall, I play Galadhrim's Greetings and save my resources for other stuff.

What actually happens when you fail a Hide test?

Failing a Hide test only triggers other bad stuff on other cards, if they are in play. Like Black Riders engaging and attacking. The "Have you seen Baggins" triggering you discard the attached hero (Pippin at the moment). Some treachery cards and shadow effects are worse if you've failed a hide test. A core Gandalf's response could kill off the injured Black Rider. And I totally didn't notice the Rohan warhorse Legolas was riding. I just thought Elves were tall like that. With extra legs.
