I knew Deku was going to show off some new tricks but killing Yo Shindo and using Black Whip to work his body like a puppet and heckle Muscular while he beats him down is a bit too edgy for my taste. Not sure about this Bakugo/Mineta team up in the last panel!

He just kills people because he likes killing. So, yeah, people aren't going to sympathize with him much, which is probably the point; for an even more direct comparison, while I was writing this post I realized that Rappa is a pretty similar character in a lot of ways, but he was presented as much more likable despite also being a murderer who wants to punch a child to death (or be punched to death by said child, he's cool with either really), which suggests that if Horikoshi wanted his audience to like Muscular, he probably could. I don't think that means that Deku is going to kill Muscular, or anyone else, of course, or even maim him horribly or whatever (unless maybe if you count punching off all that excess muscle fiber as maiming, I guess it depends on how that stuff works and how easily it falls off/goes away normally*). Just commenting on the sympathy thing. *Tangent regarding Muscular's, well, muscles, wow his power is gross when you think about it for more than a little bit. Everyone at the time seemed pretty sure compressing his own rear end would lead to his death, despite all the timeskip thrown around its only been a few weeks at most so he could easily still just be dying in the hospital somewhere. Or come back with a robot rear end.

I don't think everyone should be making light of Mr. Compress's significant contribution to the Jaku fight. Shiggy would have never gotten away if Compress wasn't willing to work his rear end off to get things done.

Latest ep of the anime had the Shoto+Endeavor *slurrrrp* scene, but they didnt linger on Shoto and his noodles long enough to be as funny as I found it in the manga.

Muscular's tragic backstory is that he was Mitsuki's little brother, and her stealing his chicken nuggies right out of his hand when he was 5 convinced him that strength is the only thing that mattered in this world.
