Well that engagement went poorly. Will play Sack for Ops, build 2M in Szigetvar and move the stack of 3R, 3M and Zryini to Graz. Ottoman's cannot avoid battle so I will also show of my Elite Troops for for 3 extra dice.

In Scotland you can only build Scottish regulars with CP (minor powers don't have mercenaries). Only with Specific cards can you build your own power's forces not in a home space of your power.

I scored 2 hits, I think he just mistyped that part. Not applicable since I did win the battle, but a stack that loses a field battle cannot move again that impulse. Was hoping you would get zero hits... 3/4) control Graz 4/4) move into Szigetvar. Units inside come out to fight as well. No combat cards. Would be 4 HRE vs 6 Ottoman right now

Lose the Merc and 1R from inside. Schwendi back to Graz with 1R I believe Zrinyi can retreat back into the fortress to still get me an extra dice in the upcoming assault. But I am not quite sure what is allowed in this situation.

So that black line in the middle of the ocean is a barrier that you can't cross. It serves to separate the European and world maps. Something that starts on the European map cannot cross that line during the impulse. To send a captain to the new world you need to do the 1CP build expedition option (but if your England you must assign him to the world map during spring deployment). Additionally, the only boats that can be in the world map are Spanish patrols. Galleons must stay on the Europe side of things.

That rule is a little complicated. If the defender has naval units in an adjacent sea zone the assault cannot happen. So if Calais under assault but the defender has ships in the North Sea and the attacker has ships in the English channel the assault cannot happen. The attacker would have to drive the ships out of the north sea. If the defender has naval units in the port being assaulted, the attacker must have more naval units in an adjacent sea zone than are in the port. But then there is another sentence that says Corsairs are ignored for all that poo poo

Schwendi and that guy back to Vienna. and I will take 2mercenaries in Vienna. Remember that troops in non-fortified spaces need to either go to the nearest fortified space or return to their capital. And no space except your capital may contain more than 5 lands units. That means the troops in Berwick cannot stay and at least 1 in Dublin needs to go back to London.
