Used to think Daikatana was going to be good. Of course by the time it came out everyone had wised up. They should have just released whatever they had years before and people might have bought it. Same goes for Duke Numkem 4.

Another story occured to me. Loosely fits the "lie" theme. One day in high school my friend Dan was inviting people to his house to celebrate his birthday, and this kid Mike overheard him and asked if he could go too. Mike was one of the autistic kids who couldn’t go anywhere without an aide. He was fairly high-functioning, eminently quotable, and he was obsessed with war, the military, and government agencies. Anyway, Mike asked if he could go to the party, and Dan said, “Uh, yeah, sure,” thinking Mike would forget about it. But he didn’t forget and when the weekend came he looked up Dan’s address and showed up to the party. No one expected this, so it was a bit awkward, but he didn’t bother anybody, so after a few minutes nobody cared. For his birthday Dan got a new acoustic guitar and Battlefield Vietnam. Mike, as I said, was obsessed with war, so Battlefield Vietnam blew his mind. After everybody went downstairs to the basement to watch horror movies, Mike stayed upstairs playing Battlefield in Dan’s bedroom. We didn’t see him again until around 5am when Mike came running down into the basement and blurted out “I gotta go. See ya” and left the house. After everyone left, Dan went to his bedroom and tried to find Battlefield Vietnam, but he couldn’t. Mike had stolen it. He denied it for two weeks—that’s the gaming lie—and then gave it back.

I used to google a ton of dumb poo poo about Pokemon. The stuff would be like. Pikablu, I have no clue why we knew about Marill and not it's actual name. Didn't Tracy in the Anime have it? Freakachu (Pikachu but green) Mewthree Togepi in Bill's Secret Garden Mew, that truck and whatever else. I wanted to believe you could get into the Mario 64 Castle in Royal Raceway.
