I grew up sailing and racing 20 - 60 footers and I miss it. Sadly growing up and moving to landlocked places has stymied that love for a long time.

If I can ever find one, I'd love to get a Wylie 17 to take day sailing.

I was out on a boat when I was staying by the sea, recently. Made me realize how much I miss sailing and being on the water. I hate being landlocked. :(

Wish I was by the sea and could find a Wyliecat 17 in good nick. I always liked those boats.

dyneema/spectra/etc cores are stupid strong as long as they're protected from dirt/UV damage.

Also dyneema rigging can save a pile of weight aloft.
