BitBasher posted:No they do not. In the code all tire types have identical traction as far as anyone can tell and turn identical lap times when tested. The only difference between ture types is tire and rim geometry based on how much rubber there is that has give to it before it hits rim. So what I should take away from this is a recommendation for going with the ballooniest off road tires I can find? E: With the caveat that only the off road bit really matters much.

The Sultan is pretty dull looking though. I think the Felon looks loads better, and it's very nearly as fast. Can get it for funbux or off the street, too.

Thief posted:That just makes it an even better WRX rip-off since it is so good at what it does but can still blend into normal traffic. I hope there's a lot of players with one in their garage that has blue paint and gold rims. Sure, that's pretty cool if you're into rally or rally cars. I realized I'm personally not, though, I just want a fast, pretty car with 4 doors. So the Felon is it for me.

HM. I kind of want to play some heists, but I'm only level 30. How much of a liability will I be? The Fleeca one went fine (apart from the cargobob not having a magnet the first time we tried), but that one is wildly easier than the others, isn't it?

I want to get better at flying helicopters. And planes, but mostly helicopters. I'm awful with them, even with flying skill around, I dunno, 85. Any tips for ways to familiarize myself with the characteristics of helicopters? I feel like I mostly got through flight school through luck and bullheadedness rather than much skill on my own part.

You can't enter or exit submarines underwater, can you? That would probably make increasing lung capacity almost fun. Also, near-unrelatedly, does golf still increase your strength somewhat? I'm past the 80 mark, but I can't be bothered to punch any more random NPCs. Rather play 30 rounds of golf.

I wish the PCJ-600 was better. It is the coolest motorcycle, I quite dislike the double headlamps all the others rock.

On the other hand, once you get enough wins for something like turbo on a Carbonizzare and get pretty decent you can really take the large majority of the player base to school, which is really cathartic for all those times you've been rammed off the road by some rear end in a top hat.

If you host the race there is simply a toggle for custom vehicles along with things like catchup and slipstream (which you should also turn off). If you aren't, the only control you have is relentless peer pressure. Out the power to find another match.

Speaking of bodyguards. Are the new armored cars good for ramming? Seems like the armor would make them fairly heavy, so that would make them good escort cars in the event that became relevant?

E: ^^^Shush. And get both, you can have up to 50 vehicles now. It's really loving good. It's SO FAT though! It feels almost as heavy as the Windsor, you have to really work to make it go around corners at any speed. Fun, and fast, and a nice level of bullet resistant, though. Nothing else from the expansion seems strictly Worth It. I did get a stilt house, it's pretty cool and away from the insanity of downtown, which is nice.

Guys, which car in this game is your favourite to drive? I know there's a new exciting thing out and all, but. E: Also, can you still have the host exit out of the pacstan finale to allow the other 3 to cash out that job repeatedly without the setup? I don't know about curbs, but I quite liked the Hermes on snow. It was a right bastard to get the hang of, though, lost grip instantly if you took off at above half throttle, and you had to put your foot down real gently from there. Same thing with brakes. Though they're quite bad even if you do apply them correctly. But the thing moves quite well if you're gentle with it. I think it's a lot of fun.
