It's gonna be a rough time until people manage to figure out how all the cars changed for the new version. The Bifta used to be such an awesome off-road vehicle but even fully modded I'm getting outpaced by loving Sanchezes now.

Oh god yes, FPS driving in this game is incredible and you should always force it to FPS mode in races. I did that Independence Day race, the one that goes all throughout the backwoods and has a mountain jump to it, and everyone on headsets started flipping out when we all went off the thing. Did that whole race to the General Lee song and felt so good.

I think someone was saying in the old thread that Simeon's "Blow It Up II" is worth 5700 RP and can be cleared in a few minutes if you've got some heavy ordinance like a tank? I can never get him to give me that mission so I can launch it from the mission menu though. edit: vg247 has a mission cash/RP payout guide for this kinda stuff now.

The game's world record keeping has been hilariously broken for me for weeks now. It says every lap I do is a world record and most other peoples' too. Some guy came 2nd behind me and it said he got a world record. It was kinda funny at first and I got that rare tattoo out of it but now it's a bit annoying.

How to max Strength in a single sitting: just play one really short hole of golf over and over again, one with a really low Par. I think there's a Par 2 hole? Anyway that one is great, I did it for like an hour and got to max.

Thugz Prison Brawl or whatever it is is the worst deathmatch ever and I have no idea how it got verified. Every time I draw it I make an effort of playing it by running up the stairs, jumping out over the railing, stealing a cop car, and just loving around on the map while Lag of the North Star goes on.

Really wish there was some kind of "lock pick" stat or something. Half the time I swipe a jet, my dude ends up shattering the cockpit glass which completely destroys the FPS mode gauges and meters that make it a better view mode. It's bad enough that there are multiple types of Lazer with different HUDs but good lord could my guy please stop smashing the glass in?

It's all Greek to me, I zeroed out the music volume in this game after a day or so of playing. I will never understand why Rockstar doesn't implement a jukebox feature in their games, because I'd bother to listen to the radio if I could pick out the 2 dozen songs I like and have them play endlessly but instead I spent a ton of time flicking through radio stations to find a song I can at least tolerate, and this poo poo gets me killed or makes me flub races so gently caress it I'll listen to NOTHING.

Adder, Entity, and Zentorno make up the trio of race-ready super cars. As far as I know, all 3 of them have their own traits that help them stand out.

I actually like all the super sharp angles on the Zentorno. I've always liked that kind of older supercar over today's modern curvy thing and the Zentorno is the only one of those in GTAO that's race worthy.

I used that RP exploit where you could sit a Buzzard on top of some shipping containers in the Base Invaders mission and have it auto-target an endless wave of respawning soldiers for RP.

The American Dream in GTA Online is pretending you're really into doing missions and then when someone accidentally discovers that you can dupe Adders by farting on a stripper after doing a race and accessing the PlayStation Store you break that glitch for all its worth.

It'd be really fun to see Rockstar try to implement the Epsilon Program in GTAO. I imagine the cash you'd have to shove at them would be multiplied but it'd be a fun way to get bored rich people out in the desert trying to run around that patch of land for 24 in-game hours straight to fulfill one of those trials. Maybe have a few fun unlocks like the robes, maybe a Kifflom greeting, let us buy some of the Epsilon-brand vehicles from their website, that kinda stuff.

I've always wanted to try Los Santos Connection but I've heard a lot about how hard it is and it has like hacking segments or something so I never bother to accept the invite. I tried a mission the other day that had safe cracking and I thought that was kinda neat.

The Bifta is an incredibly good off-road vehicle I've found. The problem with Sanchez in an off-road environment is that it's a 2-wheeled vehicle where the player can be hit and knocked off the bike mid-race, which usually causes a huge time loss. A vehicle like the Bifta is small, nimble, lightweight, and has the benefit of being a car so it can endure minor taps and survive long falls (like say off Mt. Chilliad). Before the Turbo mod hosed up on new gen, I would be leaving these Level 500s with their Sanchezes in the dust with it.

If it's a simpler Blaine County desert style run then a Sanchez would probably work just as well, but in a race with lots of bumps, hills, jumps, and otherwise rocky terrain then I'm going to want the added protection of a Bifta so I don't get flattened for landing a 20 foot drop the wrong way.

Bati and Akuma is like the age-old Adder and Entity debate. If I remember right, Bati has a better top speed but the Akuma has better acceleration. Either one works but they have their clear advantages against each other.

The casino in LS has actually been updated a few times over the past year, like they made a rudimentary interior that you can glitch into and I think there's some code here or there that suggests that the casino may be operational some day. That'd be pretty incredible.

I've played a few PS3 games with online casinos (Home, Test Drive Unlimited 2) and I imagine it'll turn out the same way. Gamble with in-game money, have ATMs everywhere so you can buy Shark Cards when you go bust, offer a shitton of exclusive rewards you can only get through earnings at said casino. "Oh, you want the brand new Casino Penthouse? Get $500,000 winnings at Blackjack and it's yours!" That kinda poo poo fits perfectly with Rockstar's weird fetish for gating stuff behind other stuff.

Yeah, the new gen version of in-vehicle shooting is awesome. They even give you a duck button to try and avoid gunfire, it feels like a true evolution of the standard vehicle shooting mechanics.

I did the glitch awhile back to get my own Darth Vader helmet/mask setup and how I remember it going was you needed to set the helmet as the one your character puts on while riding a bike/ATV then get on an ATV, then while your character is putting on the helmet you have to enter that menu where you can equip hats/masks/helmets/etc and quickly select the mask you want while your character is putting on the helmet.

So how do I join these parties when they're up on PS4? Sometimes I join lobbies with multiple LLJKs and they're not talking, so I assume they're in parties so I go to the Party menu and don't see any parties active.
