On the moon... they don't make Neo Kobe Pizza.

Rockstar's done a fairly decent job at equalizing the game for newbies and experienced players with regards to equipment available at the start. The level agnostic guns are roughly on par with the ones you unlock through progression and you can buy some of them after an hour or two of doing jobs with randos/friends, and you can get a decent sports car for free (the Elegy) just by connecting your GTA Online account to the Rockstar Social Club. I wonder what a starter pack would entail? Like maybe a couple guns, a decent car, and an apartment?

I literally only just discovered I could get the Elegy for free, the only problem being I forgot I bought one at the start of my buying spree and now I have two, neither of which I can sell. Is there any way of getting rid of them? I blew one of them up, but I imagine it still appears when you call Mors.

As far as I'm aware, the only way to get rid of an Elegy is to overwrite it. So fill the garage with a bunch of other cars from off the street, then bring in another car and when it asks you which car you'd like to replace you pick the Elegy.

Whenever I need to find a specific vehicle I just go to the GTA wiki. They typically have articles for every car featuring locations with pictures included. Usually there isn't a set 100% guaranteed position but rather a small area you can poke around and hope the RNG likes you.

The sticker shock on the Yachts is pretty insane. A rich pubbie invited the entire lobby into that Galaxy yacht and the thing seems way too big even with the budget entry to get around that place. I only got to see some of it before he kicked everyone out but there were a bunch of weapon pickups laying around and that was okay. The yachts have a bunch of weird interactables like leaning on railings, and they come with an assortment of vehicles like special helicopters and jetskis which seem okay. You can drink champagne in the back of the chopper. Right now I'm in the middle of what appears to be a "gently caress the poor!" flyby as the yacht owner in the fancy new chopper is flying around divebombing low level people.

I'd really like to see the insides of the Vinewood houses though. The yachts just feel way too big for me and the price is pretty drat exorbitant.

edit: Stopped in the middle of the trip to visit one of these houses, apparently has a full stock of all the new cars fully modded already but none are insured? Probably some glitch I don't know about going around, should probably look at gtaforums...

edit 2: Ha ha ha HOOOOLY poo poo you need 10 million to register as a VIP to start an Organization.

As expected yachts are kind of a death trap. Nothing really stopping me from getting in a hydra and just shooting at the decks but hey they make for fun parties where everyone swoops in and starts fighting.

you only need 1 million to be a VIP. they added a bunch of sick outfits you can set for yourself and your bodyguards that fit crime movie stereotypes but there seems to be no way to get them outside of the securoserv selector.

The Armored Schafter V12 is the new must-buy car. It eats the Kuruma's lunch in terms of performance and absolutely hauls rear end in a straight line while still being pretty manageable in the corners. Its got bullet resistant glass that'll stand up to a few seconds of gunfire and can take a sticky bomb or rocket hit and keep chugging. More than worth the price of entry.

For real? Because I've been down for a new car for awhile now.

edit: Race guys saying the Armored model is Sedan class and faster than the base Schafter so I gotta buy it regardless just for a superior Sedan race car.

If you're doing solo stuff then just play Titan of a Job by yourself over and over again, if you've got friends then do the Pacific heist. Do that until you hear about some kind of car duping exploit then bust the gently caress out of it.

Dang, has anyone else looked up glitches these days? I occasionally pop in that sevensins to see if anything duplication appears and when it does it's always some kind of 15 step two-man affair, what ever happened to the days of shoving a tool box into a wall and mucking around shooting dead hookers in your passenger seat?

There was the one glitch that involved a 10 car garage and using a physics glitch by crouching against the tool box in the back to block the driver side door then warping in when you tried to enter from that side, I remember that gold fully modded pantos were the cars for that. And another involving picking up hookers, parking the car so they can't get out, killing them, and a couple steps later you could dupe that dead hooker car. GTAO glitches have always kind of been weird, but drat I could usually do them by myself and not have to recruit someone just to cheat funbux!
