The "Disappear from the minimap for 1 minute" service you can buy from Lester after you hit rank 40 is amazing, I've gotten so many effortless bounties from it. People drop all their defenses when they can't see anyone close on the minimap, so I just set up with a fast bike, a sawn off shotgun, and fire up the "invisibility" a couple of blocks away from the target.

I've tried to like the Phoenix ,but it handles like poo poo, so I'd recommend going for the Dominator instead.

Alternatively, get a Buffalo S if you want a sports car. It's a relatively cheap 4-doorer with good engine power and amazing handling.

So, I joined a Versus mission because of the daily objective. The mission seemed to be for me to assassinate some businessman, while the two people on the other team were supposed to protect him.
All well so far, I grab a bike, and set up a sticky trap, drive around, and trick the limo the other team is driving to drive over it, blow them all up, including the businessman, and.... I lost?
No explanation or anything, just a big "LOSER" on the screen.

I cant say I care too much, it was only one mission, but I would really like to know what I did wrong here.

Rat-Loader

Enduro
PCJ 600
Elegy RH8
Bati 801

Valkyrie
Insurgent

Z-Type

Edit: Seriouspost, the Buffalo S handles like a dream when you upgrade it, and has decent speed and acceleration to boot. Probably one of the most "useful" cars I have.

Just had a half-hour brawl with about 8 people (me + 2 of my friends vs 3 guys from another crew that showed up when we killed one of them vs 2 random people that turned up and shot at anything that moved) in the hills north of the military base involving multiple jets and tanks, tons of explosives, snipers, mountain bikes, Kuruma's, and a dozen different calls for muggers, mercenaries and air strikes.

Hilarious stuff, and totally impromptu. It all started when one of my friends ran over one of the other guys that was trying to get over the fence to the military base, and quickly escalated.

As far as I can tell, the gates will never open up, and I couldn't find a ramp high enough to throw me over the fence.

There is a tilted ramp near the eastern end of the runway you can use to ramp over the fence if you get enough speed.

You're probably doing the wrong missions (or I am?), I've been hit plenty of times and usually lose all my armor in the process of soloing the missions that have dozens of enemies trying to kill the player. And that is with NPCs who don't aim at weak spots.

Obviously you can control it to some extent and stay farther away while not facing in the direction of where random gunfire is going to penetrate the car, but then where's the fun in that (and you can't shoot all enemies from those safer angles). Might as well do the mission in a Buzzard again :haw:

I've literally never seen anyone die(except for once when they drove into a gas pump) in a Kuruma while doing missions, nor do I really ever take damage while cruising in one. Not sure how you manage to "lose armour" while using it.

No need to put quotes around it. Armor as in that blue bar that adds as an additional HP bar, you know. As in literally being hit through the car if I charge into enough NPCs/have eg. cops shooting shotguns from the right angles while running roadblocks. It doesn't happen enough to kill me with NPCs, but it's frequent enough I started to notice that some guys always manage to hit me (not hard if there's a bunch of them coming from all directions), and before I noticed a friend who's playing on PS4 was complaining that he almost died in his armored Kuruma too.

It happens, it's more likely if you're soloing because you have enemies up longer. The point was, NPCs manag to hit players by chance, a player who knows what he's doing should be able to do it too.

Ah, my bad. I thought you meant the armour on the car.

I've tried aiming for the driver, but the widest gap seems to be the one between the two front slits, and even that is kind of dependent upon angle and weapon spread. I admit I've been more prone to try and pull my homing launcher out before attempting to shoot them out, though.

It's kind of academic since some truly heinous villain running script hook dumped 13 million on me while I helplessly rolled around in the endless bags of money, so if it comes down to it I don't really have to sweat the insurance or explosives resupply costs. I was just hoping there was an alternative solution that didn't involve it since a lot of people derive a certain amount of consolation satisfaction with the knowledge that if they don't kill you, they're at least eating into your money. Taking the armor off their armored turd mobile seemed like a really attractive solution, but I guess it isn't really practical until I can more reliably shoot them out of it first.

You can only call the mechanic once every 5 minutes, so if you blow them up twice they are mildly inconvenienced.
