"You always have a choice" was amusing coming from a Telltale game. Anyway, good episode, the inability to effect the "real" book plot adds an interesting tension to certain events

Walking Dead 1 you could at least argue that the railroading let them write a stronger story, or at least that was the argument at the time. Given every other game they've made though it doesn't really matter
